“I’M OFF TO SCHOOL MOM!” I shouted, waving as I walked backwards to the door. My back suddenly hit something rigid, and I froze as I looked up to see my father glare down at me. My body froze, and a bead of sweat rolled down the side of my face.
“OKAY, BYE!” I shouted, running out the door quickly. I sped past a ton of people as I left my home, and started towards the school building. I couldn’t believe that after all these years, I was finally getting the chance to train with top notch ninja, and-
“HEY WATCH OUT!” Someone shouted. I froze, and looked up in time to see a boy falling from the sky. I shrieked as he landed on top of me, causing dust to fly up all around us. After the dust had cleared, and we stood to our feet, I got a good look at him. He was around my age and height. He had blonde spiky hair with a pair of green goggles, blue eyes, three thin lines on each of his cheeks, he also wore a dark blue shirt with an orange jacket wrapped around his waist with orange pants to match.
“Ouch…” I mumbled.
“Who the heck are you?!” He demanded, pointing at me. I raised an eyebrow, and dusted myself off.
“I’m Sen… today’s my first day at the academy.” I explained.
“Oh, I’m Naruto Uzumaki! Nice to meet ya!” He smiled goofily, suddenly changing his attitude.
“SEE YA LATER!” He laughed, running off with a gallon of paint.
“What’s he gonna do with that…?” I mumbled to myself before shrugging it off, and finally walking up to the door of the academy.
“Hey there. I haven’t seen you around before.” A guy said, cornering me only a few minutes after stepping into the building.
“Hey, what’s your name?!” Another one shouted.
“Get in line, hey girl, look here!” Yet another shouted. I maneuvered out of the sea of boys, and quickly made my way to my teacher’s room.
“Em… Iruka Umino?” I asked, peeking inside.
“Yes?” He asked, turning to me. He smiled and stepped towards me.
“You must be Sen Omori. It’s nice to meet you, finally.” He said, holding his hand out, I shook his hand firmly and smiled.
“Your father has told me a lot about you.” He added.
“Oh…” I mumbled, looking down.
“Yes, he always seems to be praising you.” My head snapped towards him in surprise.
“R-really…?” I asked, and he nodded.
“Yes. Please take a seat anywhere you would like. Class will be starting soon.” He smiled once more before turning back to the board and writing the day’s lesson. I walked up the stairs slowly, and took a seat in the second row from the top, and fourth seat from the window.
