Forth POV:

Been nearly a month since that incident on the train. Barely an interaction but he left such a deep impression on me. Not just me in fact but also, Sunny. My boy could not stop talking about the Angel Man as he calls that mysterious man.

(A/N: The person speaking the dialogue is determined by the Alphabet in front - E.g. F is for Forth)

Flashback:

F: "Thank you so much for giving up your seat for us!"

B: "It's alright, my pleasure! I couldn't help but to notice this poor cutie feeling uncomfortable. His first train ride?"

F: "Yeah, you've guessed it. I usually drive him to school but today was just one of those days."

S: "Daddy! Daddy! He is so pretty! Is he an angel? Can he come with us? Can we please bring him home"

Flashback ends:

Forth POV:

I was more surprised by Sunny's sudden burst of energy. For an introverted child, he warms up pretty quickly to his Angel Man. He even asked his own daddy to give up the seat so he can sit with Angel Man.

I'm not sure which captivated my eyes even more; the sincere and genuine energy the Angel Man is giving off when entertaining Sunny. Hell, even the onlookers were intrigued by Sunny and Angel Man's conversation which is mostly Sunny singing his nursery rhymes while the Angel Man claps along, keeping him entertained. Or Sunny being very outgoing and having so much fun with someone he just met.

"A penny for your thoughts boss?"

Lam! You overgrown bull! How dare you interrupt my day dreaming moments! If I could just strangle you right now but lucky you, you are my oldest friend and my personal assistant in the office.

I just shook my head and got back to signing whatever papers that require my approval as Lam gives an outline of the upcomings in the office for the day. As much as I trust Lam with my life, how am I supposed to talk to him about Sunny's Angel Man when I barely know him except that Sunny calls him Angel Man.

"Alright boss, don't forget that you have an informal meeting at Deechapaya Moon Cafe to finalise some details with our clients from Kongthanin Corporations and of course, to pick up Sunny from Pre-School since P'Vid is still on leave."

Beam POV:

As much as I am thankful that Kit's boyfriend owns this cafe who made me a supervisor of the cafe, I sometimes could not help but to curse Ming in my head for choosing the heart of the Central Business District as his prime location for the cafe. The crowd here is insane with so many companies being in the vicinity.

To be candid, the pay is worth the pain of handling the business people during the lunch hour crowd and subsequently, the normal dinner crowd. Despite the location, Deechapaya Moon Cafe has garnered attention and loyal customers for the service given and the vintage, instagram worthy vibes the cafe exudes thanks to Pha's boyfriend, Wayo's design skills.

Speaking of loyal customers, the close knitted friendship between Pha, Kit and myself has given Ming's cafe the opportunity to be the host for most of Pha's dad's business meetings since Pha always speaks highly of Ming's cafe. Based on the bookings, Mr Kongthanin has booked a table for two today.

Forth POV:

I should definitely eat out for lunch more often because this cafe seriously took my breath away. Why is it only now that I discover this cafe, especially when it is located at the heart of the Central Business District. I am missing out so much, alright mental note to bring Sunny here for dinner soon and to bring Lam here for lunch as well.

I came a tad early since I initially thought I would be having trouble finding the cafe but luckily, the location made it really accessible and parking even easier. Since I'm used to meetings with Mr Kongthanin, I will just go ahead and order a drink for him first. I held my hand up to signal any available waiter to get my order as I scrolled through my contacts to give Mr Kongthanin a call.

"Good afternoon sir, my name is Beam Baramee and I will be taking your order for today. What will you be having for today?"

That voice. That voice. That voice. The voice that I've been hearing in my head for the past month, the voice that kept me dazed for most part of the day as I remember the random gesture of kindness.

My head instantly shot up and I was greeted by the breathtaking view of him. Clad in a white long sleeve with light brown slim fit pants and donning a pastel apron. Pretty cute to be honest, with his brows knitting in confusion as he searches for most likely a pen in his apron.

"Good afternoon sir, my name is Beam Baramee and I will be taking your order for today. What will you be having for today?"

I was caught in a trance as I paid attention not to his repetitive words but to the softness of his voice, the slight joy as he introduced his name. Beam, How apt for someone whose beauty radiates just like his name.
