A/N: Happy New Year to the readers of "Next Stop, Love"
It really made my day each time I see people liking and commenting on my story. It kept me motivated to keep writing the story and hopefully, write more stories in the future. Whenever my schedule permits.
Thank you to those of you that keeps checking and waiting for the updates of this story. For those that just join us, thank you for reading 'Next Stop, Love' and I would really appreciate it if you leave likes and comments along the story.
Let's continue with P'Forth and his Beamy
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Forth POV:
"Before I give you my answer, answer me first P'Forth. Where is Sunny's mum?"
I knew sooner or later Beam would be asking this question and I do not fault him for it. If I were to move forward with him by my side, I need to be transparent with him. Especially if it concerns Sunny. I let go of his arm and went to the office door earning a questioning look from Beam.
"I figured that you four will be eavesdropping outside so please join us inside as I open up about my life to Beam. You guys are his life so you also deserve to know about it as well."
"To start off, from today onwards, I am courting Beam Baramee. With his permission, of course and - "
"I told you P'Kit! P'Forth will definitely claim his man today!"
"Ai MingKwan! Shut up!"
"Finally P'Forth! Yo has been waiting for this day!"
"WHAT"
Of course, Daddy Phana has something to say about this. I'm glad that Ming and Yo is on my side, as for Kit, nothing too much that Ming can't persuade to join the ForthBeam Club. Left with Beam's Por Kongthanin right here.
"Yes Pha, you heard it right. I am courting Beam properly. I know it has taken me too long to talk about my intentions and I wish it was under better circumstances. However, today proves that I am able to stand by Beam and defend him when needed. I will protect Beam from harm and I am sincere in courting and ultimately, winning his heart."
I paused to let Phana take in the news of his son being courted by a single parent. I took a hold of Beam's hand and took a deep breath as I continue;
"Amanda or as I fondly called her Am, was my lover. We met a few years back during one of my work conferences in the Philippines. I was infatuated by her charisma and her bearings as a woman. Her beauty was not what caught my attention but the way she carried herself, she was the ''I don't take shit from anybody' type. We got carried away one night and she soon became pregnant with Sunny."
I took a moment to glance at Beam who was staring at the carpeted floor, internalising every detail of my story.
"However, what could I expect from someone like Amanda. The marriage life was not meant for her, she has so many goals to achieve in short lifetime and having a marital relationship will only hinder her from achieving them. So one night, two years after giving birth to Sunny, she left. Just like that, without saying goodbye or explaining her departure to Sunny. Sunny was too young to remember anything about Amanda. She didn't bother contacting us either way so I took it upon myself to tell Sunny that his mother has left him."
"Sunny is just a boy. How could she just leave him like that. How could you just tell him straight that his biological mother does not want him." Beam's harsh tone pierced through the room, his words might have cut through my aching heart but his stare was still at the floor.
"I can't lie to my boy. Not when he kept asking for his mother and asking why his friends has their mothers picking them up from school whereas for him, it has always been either myself or P'Olivia. I rather he learn the harsh truth from young, accept it and move on."
The tension in the room was thick. Mixed emotions were seen on their faces, Yo and Kit were tearing up whereas their husbands were putting up a strong front while looking so forlorn. Then there's Beam, looking emotionless and not giving me so much as a side eye. I let go of my hold on him and walked to the window.
"I know I robbed my boy parts of his childhood but I needed him to learn from young to differentiate fantasy from reality. I also make sure that to the best of my ability, Sunny does not feel the absence of a motherly figure. P'Olivia, my mum, my sisters, all took care of him with such love and adoration that not a single day when by without the house being filled with his giggles and cute antics."
"Till date, I have not heard from Amanda but the last I heard of her was she went back to the Philippines and set up a business there. It does not matter what she does with her life now, whether she is surviving or not. In my life, Sunny matters the most. And so do you Beam Baramee."
I turned away from the window and walked over to Beam, going down on my knees, levelling myself with his current sitting height. I took both his hands in mine and asked him again.
"So will you let me court you. Now that I've opened up to you about my life. Will you give this imperfect man a chance to win you over and ultimately, make you mine."
Beam POV:
That was a lot to take in but one thing was for sure. Even if P'Forth had not opened up about his life to me, I would have patiently waited till he's ready for I have already fallen madly in love with him.
I inched forward to give him a peck on the cheeks and said; "That's my answer P'Forth. I'm yours."

A/N: I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. Frankly, writing about Forth's past was abit too heavy for me but I thoroughly enjoyed picturing the emotions and the scenarios.
However, as I mentioned at the start of this story that this was a short one and envisioned to be around 8-10 Chapters. With that being said, I need your help and opinions on whether.
A. End the story with where it is now! This is good!
B. We need more Forth and Beamy! Extend the story please!
By nature I am an indecisive person so please comment on which should I go for and I will do the necessary steps based on the chosen option.
Thank you and have a nice day everyone! Stay Safe!
