Beam POV:

Is this person deaf? Why isn't he responding? I am already annoyed that someone switched aprons with me unintentionally which has my pen and notepad inside.

Seriously, does he need help or not. He isn't responding to my second question. Why must I handle these kind of customers.

"Good aftern-"

It's him! The man with that cute boy, from the train. The man that I randomly gave up my seat for! The man whose kid warmed up to me and made my day!

I've been hoping to bump into them ever since that day but looks like his car has been fixed. He does seem like those rich stiff upper-class man type to begin with.

"Beam? Beam Baramee? A name that suits the person"

His low husky chuckle threw me out of lalaland and back to reality. Wait, did he just compliment me? Am I hearing right?

"I've been thinking of you to be honest, since the train"

Wait, he what? i think I might need to visit the doctor after work because my ears seems to be deceiving me. How could this man who belongs to a different social class be thinking of me.

Right when I was about to respond, " Forth, sorry to keep you waiting. Traffic as usual, you know how it is "

Why is Pha's dad meeting this man. Are they just business associates but I like his name, Forth. The way Pha's dad spoke his name seems like he is an important person.

"Beam, nice to see you again. Por will have the usual yeah."

Forth POV:

Did Mr Kongthanin just addressed himself as Por to Beam? Didn't Beam said his name as Baramee? Since when is he a Kongthanin? I don't recall the Kongthanin's having an heir besides Phana

"Alright Por, you got it. How's Mae? I really miss her"

That voice. So soothing. Almost angel like, the compliments are never running out for him. However, I am really bothered by his relationship with Mr Kongthanin. Their relationship seems close for a personality relationship but also far for a patron relationship.

Sensing my uneasiness, Mr Kongthanin stepped it up by placing an order for me and sent Beam on his way back to the kitchen.

"He is not my son. He is my son's bestfriend. Poor boy had to quit school since he couldn't afford to keep up with the school bills. On top of that, he has been an orphan since he was 10 years old. I took him in and raised him as my own but the boy refused to take a single cent and has been working while schooling since high school. The moment he turned 18, he moved out and been trying to live independently."

An orphan he say? That's really unfortunate and especially since he couldn't complete his studies anymore. The things I would give to Beam, to materialise his dreams. Why am I speaking his name so bluntly as though I've known him for so long.

Beam POV:

Why is my heart beating so fast? Everything about that man throws me off. His manly scent, his husky voice and his gaze. That soft but intense gaze threw me off completely. I could barely say anything without fumbling over my words. Thank god, Por Kongthanin was there as the mediator ( eventhough he isn't aware he is a mediate)

Forth POV:

Lunch was pretty much the usual, just discussions over the project with the Kongthanins and drops of humour here and there. My mind could not help but to be distracted by the Angel that's attending to the requests of the other patrons in the cafe.

I didn't had an opportunity to speak to Beam once the food was served but hopefully I could come back and spend a bit more time knowing him.

"Forth, I know a smitten man when I see one. Beam has been through since young. As much as I am just a parental figure by choice, I love him like my own flesh and blood. I know your character well and I trust your intentions. Though I might not approve every person that tried to date Beam but I might give you a chance."

Wow! Did Father Kongthanin just handed over his son on a platter for me? Since I have a bit of Father-In-Law's approval, I will have to think through my next movements and carefully get to know Beam without scaring him on.

I'm coming for you, my Angel. Just wait for me alright.
