Katherina Valentina Amici was born as the daughter of Magdalena Emilia Amici and Camiro Dante Amici.

Hydra kidnapped her by the age of 4 from her parents house and killed them merciless. They tortured her because of her powers, her soulmarks and tried to enhance her body and mind. She lived with them till the age of 11, when SHIELD rescued her from the Hydra Base.

Thats the point when Nick Fury met her, he felt a connection, instantly. He saw her little, shyly, beaten up figure at the jet and knew he cannot let her go through the system. he approached her slowly and tried to put a hand on her shoulder, she winced at the slightest movement and noise. he looked her straight in the eye and assured her, "Baby, you are safe now and no one will hurt you anymore." She looked at the man with the eye patch doubtfully and crooked her little finger for the little fingerswear he chopped up her fingers and swore "I promise you that as long as I'm here no one will get past me."

That was the time when their two lives changed completely. Fury immediately adopted Katherina and took her home. In the first few weeks she had to go to the child psychologist Dr. Charlotte Montgomery until she had processed the events so that she could deal with them, then she only went to her once a week.

he changed his entire daily routine. Every morning he made her breakfast, took her to school and after she came to the Shield headquarters to spend her time there. Either she walked the hallways and explored the headquarters, had combat training with Maria Hill, language training and weapons science with Phil Coulson or Fury taught her how to be a remarkable spy. no one dared to tell Fury that these were not the best pastimes for a child.

He only let the best teachers near his little girl, after the first complications from this he only let her teach privately. He had an office next to his converted into a classroom so that he could be there for her at all times. After a while, Katherina opened up to him more and more, the nightmares and panic attacks decreased.

So a new everyday life played out. For the first time in a long time, Katherina felt safe and loved. Everyone at HQ could see how much she meant to Fury. Maria and Coulson became her most important caregivers. She had no friends of the same age but she didn't even notice because she had so many people around who spent their time with her. She grew up to be a beautiful, highly intelligent young woman. Not only did she get mentally, her body was also extremely trained. She graduated from high school when she was 15, which was all the more impressive since she hadn't had any prior schooling during her Hydra time. then she went to college and graduated early at the age of 17. After that she worked as a shield agent and went on various missions for the next few years, after a short time she not only made a reputation for herself as Fury's daughter.

Fury tried to get her excited about the Avenger Initiative from the beginning, Katherina refused every time. But after the battle in Wakanda, when Thanos was defeated, she couldn't refuse and that's where the story begins
