Bruce

After breakfast, Katherina thought about how best to approach Bruce since she barely had any contact with him. She went to the elevator and went up to her room and threw herself on her bed and sighed deeply.

Until now, Bruce had always been very reserved and she didn't know much about him except that he was extremely intelligent. Suddenly an idea popped into her head.

I should visit him in his lab and see what gadgets Tony had at his disposal. The lab may even be better equipped than mine in Tasmania.

She got up from her bed and realized how stiff she felt.

No wonder I haven't even trained since I've been here.

She went to her walk-in closet and was amazed to see that it was filled with everyday clothes, workout clothes and even dressier clothes such as formal evening wear, summer dresses, business chic and cocktail dresses. She picked out emerald green leggings with a matching sports bra and white sneakers.

After getting ready she called out "Friday how do I get to the gym?" The AI replies "Ms Amici, the gym and training area is on level C, the elevator will take you there." "Thanks Friday."

Katherina left her room full of energy, went to the elevator and stopped in the kitchen to get a water bottle for her training.

The elevator door opened on the living level and she walked straight towards the kitchen. When she opened the door to the kitchen she couldn't believe her luck because there was Bruce sitting at the kitchen counter, engrossed in his iPad with a steaming coffee. He seemed absorbed in the content on his tablet.

She was arguing with herself because on the one hand she didn't want to disturb him, but on the other hand she found it rude not to say anything. Before she was finished with her inner monologue, Bruce looked up and greeted her in surprise, "Hi Katherina. "You look like you have a specific goal."

His gaze swept up her body and quickly back to her eyes, he blushed slightly when he noticed that she hadn't missed his gaze. "Hey Bruce, it's good that I caught you, I'm planning an attack on you," she said with a mischievous grin. Bruce raised his eyebrows. So an attack, what could that possibly be? He smiled mischievously. Katherina grinned meaningfully and leaned forward slightly, holding her hand in front of her mouth to whisper to him in confidence, "I wanted to visit you in your laboratory after my training, on one hand to spend time with you and on the other to see how your lab is equipped .

Bruce started laughing loudly. She could only look at him in amazement, because she hadn't expected such a relaxed, liberating laugh. She smiled gently at Bruce and he replied "That sounds like an excellent plan to me, my love, even if it has a slight touch of espionage, but I promise not to tell Tony that you are trying to spy on his lab equipment."

Now it was Katherina's turn to laugh heartily. She let out one last laugh "Oh yeah, that's better left between us." She grinned "My plan was to train for 2-3 hours, get changed and then show up in your lab with coffee. How does that sound to you?"

That sounds like a date, my love. So exactly right. I look forward to spending time with you later. Just come over when you're finished. I'm working in Lab 2 at the moment." Katherina smiled happily at him. "I'll definitely do that."

She turned to the kitchen cupboards, took out a water bottle, filled it and turned back to Bruce. Now I have to train. See you later. She winked at him and sent him an air kiss and danced out of the kitchen, making her way to the fitness level in a buoyant mood.

The elevator doors opened on Level C and she entered a long hallway with 6 different doors. The first 2 doors she passed were a fitness room with various weight machines and a large room with mirrors and a ballet barre. She continued walking and passed two more rooms, a shooting range and a magic training room. The last doors opened to the changing room with a rain shower and an outdoor pool.
