listen to song when you see the ***

George POV:

Being on stage, knowing that thousands of people came here to watch us. To watch me perform. It doesn't feel real. An overwhelming amount of adrenaline pumps through my veins, my heart pounding in my chest with sweat dripping down my forehead as we finish yet another song.

One more to go until we move onto my song.

Tyler starts bashing his drums, opening our next number; bumping his head in tune to the upbeat tempo. Phoenix, having a bit of time spare, runs to grab a water bottle- two water bottles  and chucks one at me. I time the throw, casually catching it with my left hand whilst my right grasps the microphone, adjusting it so its the right height for me, even though it's been the same height throughout the entire concert.

Phoenix's first strum of his guitar indicates my cue to sing my first note and so it begins. I feel each slam of the drum vibrate through the ground, increasing the feeling of surrealness by thousands. Taking the microphone from its stand, I move around the stage, feeling breathless yet the adrenaline keeping me on my feet.

I cross the stage, striding over to Phoenix as he passionately thrums the guitar, twanging each string; expertly hitting each note. Our talents blend, neither of us feeling left behind as the other two take the spotlight- we're all just important as the other. Throwing Phoenix a smirk as the song swiftly picks up, I belt down the microphone, skilfully timing my breaths so each word is as powerful as the last.

Next, I make my way over to Tyler, syncing my footsteps with the song; still keeping up with the music being played. He thrashes his head to each strike of the drums, his hair soaking from sweat but he makes it work. He looks like your stereotypical drummer, except he has this unique spark to him; the way he smiles when he plays or the way his performance looks messy but not sloppy, keeping his movements and arms steady.

Our fans eat the performance up, it's like every step I take the stadium gets louder, encouraging us to go on. And Clay. God I hope he likes it so far. I feel my stomach flutter, which causes my voice to slightly crack however it sounds as if I did it on purpose. My mind has been preoccupied by making sure everything runs smoothly tonight so I haven't even been thinking on what song I'll be performing next. I can't back out now, even though Karis did say if I have any seconds thoughts I come straight to her, but it doesn't feel right just to back down.

The song comes to a close, with a few last guitar strums and the lights turn dark, so if you were to look at the stage you wouldn't be able to see us. The audience breaks out in a roar, applauding us because clearly they think it's over. I quickly chug a whole bottle of water, shaking my arms and craning my neck. Phoenix lightly jogs over to me, patting my on the back.

"You can do this George" He says, reaching to grab my shoulder. I nod whilst smiling at him, feeling too queasy to give him a proper answer. "Love you man" He pulls me into a bear hug. I laugh and pull a disgusted face "Get off of me! You're all sweaty" I fake gag, swatting him away. "You're no different" Phoenix jabs my side, making me dramatically fold in pain whilst he walks cooly back to his guitar.

I recompose myself, shuffling back to the mic stand. I give it one more check over before the light slowly returns; this time the focus is solely on me. Our fans return to screaming, excited that the concert isn't quite finished.

I close my eyes, recollecting my thoughts before sighing. "Hello everyone" I pause, letting the mass amount of people beneath me react. "This is the final song of tonight and it'll be a bit different from the others" I awkwardly chuckle. How can I still be awkward in front of thousands of people. "It's a very personal song and I think I'm ready to share it with you guys" I release a breath I didn't know I was holding "Thank you for coming tonight and enjoy!" Again, the crowd erupts into supportive cheers.

Walking right to the front of the stage, I look behind me and see my face on a big screen so the people at the back of the stadium would be able to see me too. That definitely doesn't help with the nerves. Knowing people are able to see my every move; able to see me so raw. The strobe lights hit me directly, the spotlight being on me.

I sigh, my microphone only slightly picking it up. The crowds whole demeanour shifts. It almost falls silent as everyone eagerly waits for me to start, if it wasn't for the odd 'whoop' or 'I love you' from the occasional fan. Closing my eyes once again, I begin singing.

***

'I don't wanna seem the way I do'

'But I'm confident when I'm with you'

My voice waves insecurely, but I don't let it discourage me.

'Lately all I feel is bad and bruised'

'Tired of tripping on my shoes'

I feel myself smile, getting more and more comfortable by the second. The small build up to the chorus comes and I turn to throw a large grin towards Phoenix and Ty excitedly. Suddenly, the bright beams of lights fill the stage as the two boys come into view.

'But when he loves me I feel like I'm floating'

'When he calls me pretty I feel like somebody'

My mind shifts to a specific blonde boy and I can't find it in me to stop. I can't wait to see him after the show. The thought of hugging Clay, being in his tight embrace encourages me even more to get this performance finished.

'Even when we fade eventually to nothing'

'You will always be my favourite form of loving'

A feeling of relief passes through my body hearing the people scream beneath me, knowing that they are loving the song. I honestly don't know why I was so worried in the first place. I continue the second verse.

'When I start to tumble from the sky'

'You remind me how to fly'

'Lately, I've been feeling not alive'

'But you bring me back to life'

A huge grin, reaching ear to ear never leaves my face as I feel I've never felt more happier in my life. I jump on the spot, in sync with the thumps of Tyler's drums building up to the second and final chorus verse.

'But when he loves me I feel like I'm floating'

'When he calls me pretty I feel like somebody'

Tears form in my eyes out of pure bliss and euphoria, not caring in the slightest of the big screens catching me cry.

'Even when we fade eventually to nothing'

'You will always be my favourite form of loving'

The final beats from Tylers drums closes song as I fall down to my knees, my chest moving up and down heavily. An overwhelming amount of support gets sent my way, either that being from our fans, or the way Phoenix and Ty come crashing down into me crushing me in a bear hug.

"LETS GOOO" Tyler screams down my microphone accidentally, causing me and Phoenix to both cringe from the loudness of his voice. However, I laugh it off and stand up, bringing my left and right hands down to grasp at the other boys to pull them up. We situate ourselves facing the crowd, one boy either side of me as they sling their arms around my shoulders.

All three of us bow in unison, trying our best to catch out breath "This was Triadic. Thank you and goodnight!" Phoenix says, bringing us down into another bow before we run backstage with the crowd shrieking behind us.
