BLAKE
I pushed my hair from my face with a deep sigh. A black, off the shoulder dress clung to my body as I walked up the door nervously, goosebumps covering my bare arms. I paused at the door, biting my lip as I stared at the brown, wooden door.
"Blake?" I jumped, turning around to face Luke, who was staring at me curiously, "Are you going to knock?"
"Actually," I breathed, my heart still beating fast in my chest, "I have a question for you"
He seemed to hesitate, his eyes narrowed. "What is it then?"
"What happened between Calum and Ashton last summer?" I asked quickly. Luke widened his eyes nervously, pulling his lip ring in between his teeth as he thought about it. "They both won't tell me"
"Well, if they won't tell I'm certainly not" Luke grinned, pushing past me softly, "And you don't want to know anyway" He knocked on the door without another word, shaking his head.
"Luke!" Calum grinned as he opened the door, a beer in his hand. Blake often forgot that he was already 18 and was shocked whenever she saw him drinking, "and Blake!"
I smiled shyly as I passed him, taking in his smell - the same smell on the shirts he had given me. Luke high-fived Calum when he passed, muttering something to him. "Where can i put this?" I raised the apple pie, my eyes on the artwork above Calum's head.
"Mum's in the kitchen" He replied, giving me a weird look as I hurried off. I found my way to the kitchen, smiling at Calum's mum as I placed the pie on the counter. Before I could say something other than hello, Calum called me, "Come to my room!"
I sighed and straightened my shoulders, smiling once more as I turned and found my way to the stairs leading down to his room. My boots loudly hit the stairs as I hurried down them, hearing a guitar and some singing coming from his room. When I entered, I noticed Luke and Calum were playing acoustic guitars, singing to Style by Taylor Swift. I covered my mouth with my hand to repress a giggle, still on the last step.
Calum glanced up and stopped playing, his cheeks turning a light pink. "Oh, hey Blake" He laughed, embarrassed, "I thought you would be speaking to my mum"
"You called me down, loser" I replied.
Luke smirked, leaning back in the chair, "Oh?" He joked, winking at me.
"Shut up" Calum warned, throwing a pillow at him with a groan, "Where's your boyfriend anyway?"
"Sick" Luke sighed, pouting, "Unless that was an excuse to get out of this lame shindig"
I laughed, sitting on the bed next to Calum. My phone vibrated from my bag and I quickly retrieved it, my eyebrows pulling together in confusion as I read the message over.
ASHTON IRWIN: can i please have a second chance, blake? i promise i won't screw it up
Calum scoffed and I felt his warm breath tickle my neck as he read the message, "What a dick" he mumbled. I blushed and shoved the phone back into my bag, ignoring the message.
"So what are we going to do?" Luke inquired, grinning at us.
WE thought for a moment before Calum jumped up, waving his arms. "I know! I know!" He turned towards Luke with a smile and raised a finger to point to him, "We're going to bully you!"
Luke laughed, rolling his blue eyes before he glanced over at me. "I feel like a third wheel, actually" He admitted.
"Because you are" Calum deadpanned.
"Calum!" i gasped, slapping his arm lightly. He turned to me, grinning as he shrugged innocently. "You're an idiot"
"I know" He slapped my arm back as his mum called him upstairs. He sighed, but ran upstairs anyway, leaving Luke and I alone.
"Blake..." Luke sighed, rubbing his temples, "I need to tell you something"
"About last Summer?" I perked up, my eyes wide and alert.
"No, not about last Summer," He shook his head and I frowned, "About Ashton and...And the phone I was supposed to give him"
"What are you saying?"
"I never gave it to him. It was me - and Michael - the whole time. We tried getting you to go to him, and have him stand you up and then we would've texted you pretending it was him saying that you guys were over, I don't know. But then when he was actually at McDonald's, I thought are plan had failed but then he called Michael and I what he called us and you heard and it was much better then-"
"Why?" I whisper, not caring to hear the rest of the story. "Why did you try to ruin it?"
"Because he isn't good for you. He's violent, angry and just no good" Luke finished just before Calum entered the room, carrying a plate of mixed food. He was oblivious of the tension, and began talking about some movie he had watched, but I wasn't listening. I was angry at Luke, sure, but it wasn't like he had planned on Ashton being there and saying what he said. I didn't know what to think, or who to be angry at, but soon Calum was distracting me and my mind slowly forgot about the subject.
--
Calum fell back into the bed, staring at me sadly. "So, Luke's gone" He stated.
"What's the time?" I mumbled tiredly, reaching for my bag. My phone read that it was just past midnight. "Cal, I need to get home"
"No!" he whined, wrapping his arms around me to prevent me from moving, "Stay! Sleep here! I'll sleep upstairs!"
"You can sleep here too, Cal" I sighed, knowing there was no way I could argue my way out of this.
"Great!" Calum jumped off the bed and started going throwing a drawer. He pulled out a band shirt and threw it at me, turning his back to me, "I won't peek"
I grasped the shirt in one hand as I slid out of the dress, throwing it where my shoes were. Calum swore and I noticed his head was slightly turned. I quickly slid the shirt over my lace bralet and picked up a pillow, throwing it at Calum. "You said you wouldn't look!"
"I'm a hormonal teenage boy, you said so yourself!" He argued, a smile on his face, "You have a great body by the way"
I took a couple of steps closer to him, frowning, "But you said you wouldn't look"
"I'm sorry, babe" He opened his arms and I sighed, hugging him. As he pulled away, he grasped my hips softly and placed his warm lips on mine. My arms stayed around his neck, my fingers tangled in his soft hair. Our lips worked perfectly together as he lifted me up, my legs around his waist. He walked towards the bed, laying me down softly.
I pulled away, shaking my head, "Calum" I warned, pushing him back.
"Babe," Calum whined, "Please" I shook my head as his fingers traced my lips lightly, "so perfect" He muttered to himself.
"Cal" I sighed, trying to restrain myself from kissing him again, "You have to stop kissing me"
"Why?" He asked, his eyes concentrated on my lips.
"Because we can't control ourselves" My hands stopped pushing him away and began pulling him closer, "And I hate not being able to control myself"
"You'll have to get used to it, won't you?" He replied before connecting our lips once more.
