BLAKE

I pulled out a shirt from the plastic bag Calum had given me an inspected it. It was an old Beatles shirt that was obviously worn a lot. Holes were scattered around the grey material, but other than that, it was in pretty good condition. I placed it back on bed and pulled my phone from my pocket.

BLAKE: do i need to wash the shirts?

CALUM: lnao probably. i haven't worn them in ages so  idk if they're washed or not.

BLAKE: lnao?? nice. and gross. god, you could have washed them for me, idiot

CALUM: bUT I WANTED YOU TO WEAR MY SHIRT LIKE COUPLES DO

BLAKE: are you obsessed with me or something?

CALUM: yes

BLAKE: changing your name to 'my stalker'

MY VERY MEAN STALKER: wear my shirt tomorrow

I stood at the edge of my bed, wearing nothing but my underwear as my eyes scanned the various shirts in front of me. They were all worn, some faded, some full of holes. After a lot of debate, my hands fell onto the Beatles one I had looked at yesterday and I slipped it over my head quickly, shoving all the other shirts into the bag. I tugged on my blue mum jeans and ran a hand through my curly hair, wincing at the knots.

After grabbing my schoolbag, I hurried down the hallway to the living room where my mum was sitting, the keys twirling in her hand. She looked back when I entered and paused. "Honey, where is that shirt from?" She questioned, standing from the couch and following me towards the front door.

"This old thing?" I glanced down at the shirt that smelt a lot like the chocolate lynx I often saw in Woolworths or Coles, "I've had this for ages, mum. It was just stuffed towards the back of my closet"

My mum raised an eyebrow but dropped the subject, climbing into her yellow Jeep Wrangler. I switched from the radio to my Catfish and the Bottlemen CD, relaxing back into my seat as I let Ryan McCann's voice fill my ears. My mum remained silent for about two songs before she sighed and turned the volume down. "Blake, promise me you'll stay out of trouble. I really can't afford to go looking for a new school"

"There's always home-schooling" I suggested with an innocent smile my mums way, "Or, like online schooling"

My mum shot me a look as we pulled into the school's street. She found a spot outside and turned in her seat to face me, her face stern. I sighed, "I'll be good. I promise" I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and jumped out. A small distance away, by the gate, stood Calum, his back facing me as he spoke to Luke, a boy who was in a few of my classes. I hurried past them, my head down, in an attempt to go unnoticed. But a minute later, my phone vibrated.

MY VERY MEAN STALKER: you look great in my shirt, blake
