-Chapter 4-

Wonwoo’s pov

    Today’s the day, it’s finally the day that I tell Mingyu. Ever since I went for the check-up, I’ve been feeling scared and nervous about Mingyu finding out that I was pregnant. I’ve been trying so hard to cover up everything like hiding the tests and sonograms. No way in hell that I’m letting him find out about this. I also tried to hide my morning sickness and the symptoms or he would get suspicious. 

    It’s almost 6.30 in the evening and Mingyu would be here any minute. I got to go back earlier today since Mrs Kim wanted me to be with Mingyu on his birthday and she also wanted to rest more since I’m with child and yes, Mr and Mrs Kim knew that I was pregnant. They were so happy, especially Mrs Kim since she always wanted to have grandchildren.

   Minseo has mixed feelings about this, she was happy but at the same time she whined because she didn’t want to be an aunt at 18. I couldn’t help myself but laugh when I thought of that. I was minding my own business at the cashier when I heard Mingyu’s voice blurting through the place. “Wonwoo hyung!” I looked up and saw him skipping towards me.

   I smiled and shook my head at how goofy he was, he’s a child in an adult body. “Hyung, I miss you.” Mingyu pouted and puckered his lips. “I miss you too.” I pecked his lips and ruffled his hair. “Hang on, I’ll go grab my stuffs.” Mingyu nodded and I walked away.

    I took my bag and before I could forget, I went into the kitchen’s refrigerator and took a box out, Mingyu’s birthday cake which I bought during my lunch break. After giving myself a checklist in my mind, I smiled and went to Mingyu before proceeding to get on the scooter.

   “Hyung what’s that?” Mingyu asked while pointing at the box I was holding. “A present.” I answered bluntly and Mingyu handed me my helmet. “Eh, a present for me right?” Mingyu wiggled his eyebrows and I smacked his head lightly. “Let’s just go home.” We both chuckled and drove back home. After we’ve reached home, I put the cake into the refrigerator and started cooking dinner while Mingyu went to get a shower. I put on my apron and started cooking.

3rd person pov

    While waiting for the seaweed soup to boil and the rice to cook, Wonwoo went to get a seat at the dining area and without knowing he dozed off. A few minutes later, Mingyu walked out to the kitchen and saw his boyfriend dozing off. He smiled and pecked Wonwoo’s hair then proceeded to the stove to check on the soup. Wonwoo jolted up when he felt something touch his head.

   He rubbed his eyes and saw Mingyu already in the kitchen. “Gyu….” Wonwoo called out with a small voice which was loud enough for Mingyu to hear. Mingyu walked over to the sleepy cat. “Yes Woo?” “I can do the cooking….” Wonwoo answered and got up. “It’s alright Woo, you go and get a shower, I’ll take care of the rest.” Mingyu pecked the elder’s cheek which made him nod.

    After they were done with their business, the couple sat down while eating their dinner silently. “Mhm the soup is good, my hyung is improving.” Mingyu smiled and Wonwoo chuckled. “I’m glad my puppy enjoyed it.” Dinner passed by quickly and it was now time for dessert. Wonwoo went to take the cake out from the fridge and put the candles on it while lighting them up. Wonwoo took the cake and walked towards Mingyu while singing.

   “Happy birthday to you~ Happy birthday to you~ Happy birthday dear Mingyu~ Happy birthday to you~” Wonwoo placed the cake in front of Mingyu who was clapping for himself. “Make a wish.” Wonwoo said and Mingyu closed his eyes, his fingers interlacing each other. After he was done, he blew out all the candles. “Happy 22nd birthday Mingyu-ah.” “Thank you Wonwoo-ah.”
