Karina POV
London was big. Very big.
And we had only seen the station of the trains.
So far, the towering building above us had all of our attention. After a few seconds of staring, I grabbed Arya's hand and dragged her along.
"Where are we going now?" She asked. A small part of me wanted to give a sarcastic answer, but I couldn't be bothered and just answered with a shoulder shrug.
We found our way out of the station an ended up on a street. There were lots of people: when I say lots I mean LOTS. I mean every single demon I've ever met and then some, all crammed into one small street. It was kinda freaky actually, with lots of people crammed into one place. I didn't like it.
My hand started to ache, and I looked down to see that Arya had a death grip on it. Her knuckles were white, and my hand was going slightly blue.
"Ummm, Arya?"
"Yeah?"
"Can you not squeeze my hand so hard?"
"Oh, sorry. I'm just nervous. Let's get out of here."
As the feeling comes back to my hand, I nod and start walking. Together, we walk until we are away from the crowds of people.
When we reach a random street that is nearly empty, we stop, and Arya lets go of my hand. I suddenly feel slightly disappointed.
Wait, what? Why do I feel disappointed? I mean she's an angel. Come to think of it, why did I let her grab my hand in the first place?
Now is not the time brain. Shut up.
No, you shut up.
Am I really talking to myself?
Apparently. I don't think that's healthy.
Well no one asked you, did they?
I'm arguing with myself now. Great.
"What do we do now?"
Arya's voice pulled me out of my daydream.
"I don't know. I guess we find somewhere to stay the night?"
"Where?"
"How would I know? Why do you assume I know what I'm doing? I'm pretty sure that we are the first idiots ever to be on the run from heaven and hell at the same time, so this is all new to me as well. Why don't you find somewhere for us to stay? Because I have no clue! I don't know what we are doing, I don't know what I'm doing! I mean you are an angel. I'm a demon. We hate each other, remember? Why are we even together?"
She blinks at me.
"First things first: I don't think we should stay in a big hotel. Too easily traceable. Either we stay in a small, grotty hotel or we grit our teeth and sleep on the streets. Secondly, there is no need to be rude. I was asking you incase you had an idea, that doesn't mean that you need to throw a tantrum when you don't know. You could just say 'I'm not sure. What do you think?' Thirdly, I know I'm an angel, I know that you're a demon, but the truth is we are now stuck together. Like it or not, if we actually want to have a shot at surviving we need to work together. So, stop complaining, get your head out your arse and stay close. We need to find somewhere to stay."
With that, she storms off, leaving me looking slightly bewildered. I just got yelled at by an angel.
Arya is still walking, and hasn't even stopped to see if I'm following. Instead of running after her, I stare at her.
Her brown/blond hair is frizzing up, and her dark skin is slightly dirty. She looks royally pissed.
She's still walking. But she's not looking.
By now she's too far away, and although I'm running, there's nothing I can do. I can only stare helplessly at the big red bus that's about to hit her.

MUHAHAHAHAHA IM SO EVIL
please don't hate me for that.
