Quick warning for um violence, near death experience, stabbing, being crushed
The suit haunted Peter. As he swung towards the attack, he wore he could almost feel the weight of the building pressed down on him, it felt like the mask was clinging to his face, and he suddenly was having trouble breathing. Peter stumbled a bit on a building before shooting out another web, he couldn't risk stopping, not when people's lives are at stake, he couldn't do that again. The suit looked almost brand new, he had repeatedly washed the thing after Mr. Stark gave it back to him. But peter could still smell the faint, sickening smell of his blood and dust from the inside of his mask. And it made his stomach turn. Inside the smell of the laundry pods, the faint smell of iron and sick invaded his senses. He would have thrown up just then if he hadn't landed on a nearby building right next to the attack, he realized.
Peter stared at the aliens, they were the same ones that had caused the attack that brought the building onto him. They were large creatures, looking similar to an octopus mixed with a large dog. A very large dog, that stood on its hind legs and growled at everything that moved. It had large grey tentacle looking arms breaking out of its back, and they were littered with teeth. Peter shivered, yeah no. He had barely caught a glimpse of what was attacking before he had been caught under the building, those things looked so gross.
He turned his attention back to the problem. The aliens carried somewhat primitive weapons, resembling spears or swords. But a constant on each was the bright purple crystals that seemed to be radiating some kind of flowing energy. Peter decided to take a sample when this was all over. He readied himself to meet the attackers, they only had one or two ships as far as he could see, and they didn't seem to concerned about the citizens running from them. One of the taller ones spotted him and pointed at him, garbling something to its companions. Peter clicked his tongue and jumped down, flicking his wrist and catching the tall ones spear and pulling it into his own hand.
"Nice stick." he said flatly, he didn't feel like making many quips today. He touched the crystal softly, and it sent a sharp shock to his fingers, which made him pull away quickly. He glared back at the aliens, who were now surrounding him, he sighed and counted them. 13. He was clearly seen as a threat, so why doesn't he show them how much of a threat he could be?

"Sir." Tony's ears perked up at the mention of his name. "It seems there is an attack on the city. Would you like me to send you the coordinates?"
Tony sighed and put down his tools, he had been working on some upgrades for his kid's suit as an apology. "Yeah sure, is anyone else at the scene?"
"None of the avengers are at the scene, sir." Friday supplied. "Spider-man is at the scene."
"Peter?"
"Yes sir." that's odd, he should be resting. Tony pinched his nose, this kid was going to be the death of him, for gods sake. He pushed aside his project and got ready. He would have to go help out, not just for Peter, people were in danger (Tony didn't think about the fact that Peter could be one of them).
Finding the attack was easy, if not for the coordinates, there was a tone of smoke and screaming from one area, so it wasn't too hard to tell where the aliens were invading. Tony landed on a nearby building, and his gaze landed on a certain teenage vigilante. He narrowed his eyes, Peter was fighting off maybe, 11 different aliens at the same time. And viciously too, he wasn't sparing them a single thought as he knocked them out cold, using their own weapons to shoot them. Tony decided to not think about it longer and instead began to fly down towards them. "Friday, alert the rest of the avengers."

"Spider-man!" Peter flinched and turned to the familiar voice, it was Mr. Stark, no duh, flying towards him. Peter couldn't help but feel the familiar pit in his stomach, but was quickly knocked out of it when he was actually knocked out of it by an alien. He stumbled backwards, clutching the side of his head where he'd been hit, shaking off the pain quickly. A beam hit the attacking alien away from Peter, and Tony landed next to him. "You should've alerted me before you ran head first into danger, you're still recovering, kid." Peter stared at his mentor, he didn't feel as upset as he thought he would seeing him again. He felt honestly more annoyed if anything. Why did he suddenly decide to care about him? After yelling at him? After getting so mad? Did he really think Peter would just forgive and forget like that? Without even an apology?
