We began to head northeast toward the hunting cabin. It was dark but everyone had their flashlights out and was ready for whatever laid ahead. After minutes of walking, noises could be heard from the back, it sounded like someone or something was moving through the thick dense forest. Was something following us? I began to grow suspicious after I heard the same noise again, maybe it's just an animal and I want to believe so but that's becoming increasingly hard with every time that noise is made.
They continued to walk towards the cabin their steps being cold and every breath was filled with the fear of deception. The noise grew louder as they got closer to nothing but darkness. Fear filled the atmosphere and everyone seemed to notice the sound. "Guys, I know you hear that..." Dahlia whispered. Sakka looks around the forest and sees nothing in sight but the noise is still clear as day. "Yeah I hear it but I don't see the source," Ali says while also scanning the forest with the flashlight. "Same, but I recommend we keep our voices to not attract attention to whatever is following us," Hunter says whispering behind Ali. Itsuki continues to lead and he spots the moonlight sparkling off the far-away Lake Victoria right next to it is the old Cabin which wasn't in a very good state as he expected but it still could offer a haven for them for a while until they find a phone or wait until morning. "Guys, look I found it," he says pointing his flashlight over the fallen tree trunk that was blocking their path. "There's a tree trunk in the way, what now?" Itsuki says shining the light on the trunk. "We use blunt force and push it out the way." Sakka then walks up to it and tries to push it out of the way. "Don't just stand there, help." They all rushed over to him and helped push the trunk out of the way which made a loud noise in the process which startled them all as they felt as if something was now lingering over them. They continued not knowing danger was ahead. It was quiet and they could hear the lake water splashing against the shore. "It's Offley quiet isn't it-" Itsuki says before stopping dead in his tracks and slowly turning his focus to the abnormal tree that so happened to look like the legs of a creature he saw back at the watchtower. He remembers one of the old journal books he found at the watchtower which had a bunch of monsters in them and he remembers this one specific page that read:

I've finally found out what the noises were outside. I always thought it was just a random bear or just trespassers but it's actually some entity called [ --- ] as the cult calls it. I found a book about back at the old orphanage while snooping around. I wonder, why were they teaching children about these monsters? The children seemed to enjoy these creatures as they drew them almost every day. Anyways, the book says "The being [---] is a [--] tall creature which lurks in the forest and has [--------]. It mainly creeps at night and in the day it stands still and does nothing. The skin color of the being and its almost silent stalking nature allows it to blend in with the surrounding forest trees making it hard to see it in the dark or even in the day." It doesn't say anything else, it seems as if someone erased the ink on the book. Anyways. I'll keep a document of these...things from now on.What Itsuki saw
Itsuki is paralyzed in fear after realizing how well this creature fits the description of the [--] [----] monster. Everyone stops to look at Itsuki and watches him stare at the darkness. Sakka walks up to Itsuki "Suki are you okay? What's the matter-." Sakka turns his attention to what Itsuki is looking at and he notices the legs as well. "Wha- what the hell is that?!" Sakka yelled while backing up. Everyone rushes over to see it and is shocked as well. Itsuki can't move...he won't move...it won't let him. A sudden voice plays to Itsuki but it's not normal...Is it numbers? "Why? What does it mean? Why won't it shut up!" The thoughts run in Itsuki's head as he covers his ears crying in pain and in unbearable distress as the numbers "1...8...1...1" keep being repeated in that order. The others see his distress and Sakka rushes to him screaming "Itsuki come on! We have to go! Itsuki snap out of it!" He constantly shakes him but Itsuki won't move until the unthinkable happens. The tall creature began to move towards them shouting more numbers and phrases "1...DAH...2...HUNT...3...SAK...4...ITS...5...AI...6...QUN...SUNRISE...DEATH" the monster shouted constantly while moving towards them. They all start yelling at Itsuki to get up but he's in pain. Sakka can't take it anymore the loud noises and the constant screaming so he grabs Itsuki and throws him into his arms "Guys, we gotta go! NOW!" Everyone starts to run as the loud tall creature follows them. Ali tries shooting it with the gun but the bullets seem to not harm the creature. It was becoming faster and louder with each bullet being shot at it. Sakka couldn't bare the constant sobs from Itsuki while holding him so he placed Itsuki on the ground while he and Ali fired at the monster. "You stay right here, we'll be back," he said. Sakka ran towards the problem with a gun in hand. "Hunter, Dahlia, and Quinn go stay with Itsuki behind the tree! Me and Ali have this!" He struggles to keep his place as the monster moves forward, but suddenly it runs into the forest with each footstep shaking the ground. Everyone looks confused as to why it ran away. "Whe- where did it go?" Ali says out of breath, panting heavily. "I don't know. But hopefully, it doesn't come back." Sakka trembled clutching the gun. Hunter and Dahlia help Itsuki get through his breakdown while lying under a tree. "Is he okay?" Ali asks. "He's fine but I don't know why he looks dead," Dahlia says softly "Let's just get to safety already. That thing might come back and we're not safe under a tree it's stalking us and knows our names." Itsuki says while trying to stay conscious. "Yea- wait what- It knows our names?" Sakka asked confused and worried about the matter. Itsuki mumbles "Yeah...didn't you hear it? It was saying our names but halfway. It said "1...Dah...2...Hunt...3...Sak...4...Its...5...Ai...6...Qun...Sunrise...death" for the whole chase." "Wow, I never really noticed because of the loud gunshots," Quinn added, looking at the ground. Out of nowhere, a loud running noise could be heard while something was yelling "The National Weather Service has indicated that SEVERE WEATHER IS OCCURRING within the listening area of this repeater." over and over and over again.
"Fuck, it's back!" Ali screams. Sakka grabs Itsuki and they all run with it trailing behind. "Why won't it leave!" Quinn screams looking at the sky hoping for some miracle to get this thing away from them. They made it to Lake Victoria but the cabin was across the lake. The water seemed very shallow but it's still gonna be a hassle. "What do we do?" Hunter says constantly painting, then he looks behind and sees the worst, it's Dahlia...she's being chased. Hunter screams "Dahlia!" They all look back to see Dahlia stumbling as she runs towards them. She started to weep as it got closer to her. It started replaying Hunter screaming her name like a voice recorder on replay. "We have to help her!" Quinn yelled. Sakka thinks about what to do. "The guns didn't have an effect but maybe if we fire at once it'll slow down," he thought to himself. Without saying a word he rushed to Dahlia in an attempt to save her and he shot the monster while Dahlia ran behind him. After he shot it in the [------] at its midpoint it was stunned and he grabbed Dahlia's hand and ran with her back to the lake to grab the others. Sakka didn't want to waste time so he told the others to run ahead which they did. Itsuki was still dizzy so he was carried by Hunter. The monster was stunned for a brief moment and when it came back to its senses it immediately ran after Dahlia and Sakka knocking down trees in its path. The others took the long way around the river running towards the cabin as the sandy shore grazed their legs. Sakka could feel the cabin right in front of him. "We're almost there Dahlia, come on!" Suddenly, he felt Dahlia's hand loose clutch with his and her scream echoed throughout the dense forest. He looked back to see Dahlia being picked up by this creature. "Dahlia!" he screamed. She struggled in the creature's hand grasping for air as she wept, screamed, and cried. The monster began to walk away with Dahlia in its hand and Sakka chased after it. Dahlia screamed "HELP! HELP ME PLEASE! SAKKA!" He kept shooting the monster but it kept walking away unbothered. She cried and screamed but it was no use. Sakka ran out of bullets and was useless and she and the monster disappeared with her last scream being echoed throughout the forest as the birds flaked away. "SAKKA!" her last scream was. Sakka found her ribbon that was tied to her hair lying on the shore. He dropped to his knees and started to cry and let out his last scream "Dahlia!" It echoed but no response. He started to cry an endless emotion filled with sorrow and despair.
