The rest of the day proved to be fairly uneventful, thank God, and I was ready to go home and try to forget it all. I walked out of my last class, relieved, heading towards my locker to meet with my friends.

Shoving books into my locker, I tried to ignore the small glances from other students around me, already knowing they had a million questions on their minds regarding Flynn and me.

Why are people so interested in other people's lives anyways? This is high school, not some melodramatic reality show. I longed to go back to normalcy more than anything, wishing I could stay secluded in my little bubble till I graduated in two years.

Slamming my locker shut, I noticed Kayla, Chloe, and Kat headed my way and sighed, grateful for their company.

"Hey guys." I greeted, clutching my notebook to my chest.

"Hey Scar." They all said, Kat and Kayla going straight to their lockers.

"Ready to go home?" I questioned, "I can't wait to get away from all these nosy people."

"Oh c'mon, its not that bad." Kayla remarked, laughing.

"Oh, it's bad. I feel like I'm in a fishbowl right now."

"Yeah, you pretty much are," Kat replied, closing her locker, "I had like three people ask me about you and that new guy in my last class."

"Same! These girls in fifth wouldn't leave me alone. I wanted to tell them to screw off." Chloe said, joining us.

"You should've." I said, laughing with them.

We all started walking, changing the subject to talk about some new album that Kat's favorite band just released, with her trying to convince us to listen.

"Guys its like their best album yet! They're gaining so much popularity and they're going on tour next month too!" Kat exclaimed, talking excitedly and waving her hands around.

I glanced down at her from my right and said, "Isn't that the same band that just had a scandal like two weeks ago?"

"Yeah but that's not important they got that all figured out, the singer started seeing one of their assistants, no big deal."

"Huh. I need to get that job." Chloe laughed.

I rolled my eyes, grabbing my phone out of my pocket and scrolling absentmindedly.

"Oh shit Scar look out!"

My head snapped up just in time to collide with a wall, causing me to immediately fall backwards. I braced myself for the impact; only to feel two strong arms wrap themselves under my arms, halting my dramatic fall.

"Careful babe." I heard a low voice chuckle, making me freeze.

Please no. It couldn't be him, this is way too cheesy, and twice in one day?

I looked up, gazing right into his hazel eyes as my mouth gaped open like a fish out of water. I quickly realized how close in proximity I was to him and scrambled up, out of his grip. I felt the heat rise to my cheeks as I fixed my shirt, straightening out myself before raising my head to take in the scene.

Flynn stood there, looking fairly amused at best, assessing me in a way that made me feel uncomfortable in my skin, eyes narrowed in interest. Only then did I notice the two guys standing behind him, one with a blank expression on his face and the other looking like he was suppressing a laugh. I recognized them as the two guys from earlier at lunch, but only then did I realize how good looking they all were.
