Alex's POV

"Alex! Hurry up! We have to get to the airport!" My mom yells up the stairs to me. "Okay, I'm coming."

The whole car ride to the airport I was thinking about my best friend Nikki. She has been there for me since the beginning of 4th grade. When the boys in grade school would bully me because of my height, because I was too skinny, because I was crying, because my only friend was a girl; she was there for me.

After getting all of our suitcases all set we went to where our gate is. I reached in my bag to get my favorite pink hoodie. Instead, I pulled out a piece of paper. It said: "Stop searching for tomorrow, you've got all you need today <3" This is why I love Nikki, she knows I have bad anxiety, she knows I overthink, she knows I worry about the future way too much. My parents don't understand. They think God is the answer to everything.

My parents. They got this great opportunity to preach the word of God out in LA for young teens. If it's anything like how to was here, they won't be around that much. I'm happy for them. I am. I wish they thought about it from my point of view though.

"Come on bud." My dad said to me. We boarded the plane and when we found our seats I sat near the window. "Hunny, I promise, you will love California!" My mom said. I looked at my dad, "Bud, it's a great place. A great school, neighborhood, city. We live a couple of minutes from the beach and there's an arcade and a pizza place and so many fun things! You'll love it." I just nod my head. They know I don't believe them, but it's nice that they are trying. I look out the window and we are now in the air. Bye New York.

soooo do you like it so far????  enjoy <33333
