It was the same as any other day at the boiling Isles....except playing hexes hold'em

Eda stared at owlbert who stared back at her as they held their cards

"Watch closely,luz...hexes hold'em is the most tricky game on the boiling Isles any proper witch knows how to play"
"Oh,boy cards...the paper rectangles that old people think are fun"

Eda placed her last card down which started the game making all the cards hand arms and legs,even a mouth

"Now when it looks like the deck is stacked against you,that's when you break out the wild card"

Eda rose a card with a tower on it which glowed green destroying owlbert's cards,then a flame appeared declaring eda as the winner

"Whoo I win,in your adorable owl face...ah I love the feeling of victory it feels...fluffy?"
"Uh eda it's happening again"
"What's happening again?"
"Your curse is returning"
"Oh no"

Eda ran to her room with king and luz behind her,just as y/n entered the living room with an apron and her hair in a small bun

{Weird...where are they?}

Y/n walked up the stairs to find them when she heard them

"This is terrible,I'm out of elixir"
"Last time this happened you turned into this thing"

Luz then showed eda a picture she took of her as the owl beast

"I know I should be repulsed but that look is fierce"

"You're right,you're right we need to head to-"
"Tha market?"
"The market?!...wait y/n aren't you busy?"
"No I just finished making something for luz to eat,head downstairs before king eats it"she said as king already left
"Kiiinnnngggg!"

"Wait before we go would anyone like to play one more hand of hexes hold'em?...hey where are my cards?"

"Here take these and go on ahead"y/n said giving them to her f/a palisman,

"P/n,get back here...give me back my cards!"eda yelled running after them while y/n walked down to find luz

"Is eda okay?"
"Her curse is returning so that's a no"
"Do you like the soup"
"Yeah this tastes amazing!"luz said with a smile

"Come on let's go find eda so we can go to Morton for the elixir"
"Alright"

TIME SKIP

"Hey open up,Morton!"
"Uh,just-just a minute!"he yelled while luz and king watched around them

"The curse of tiny legs"

Footsteps were heard and there on a cart was a giant creature tied down

"Whoa that is one ominous parade"
"That's no parade those are demon hunters,dangerous nomads who capture and sell the most powerful beasts"

Eda said as the demon beast moved about to bite the demon hunter infront of them,but they drew a circle absorbing it in to their hand and releasing a shock wave at the beast making it pass out

"Which I'm about to become if you don't open up Morton!"
"Sorry eda"he said as he opened shop
"I was all night poison tasting,for some reason I don't feel great"
"I'm all outta my juice pal"
"Oh gee...let me see what I can do"he said moved around different elixir and potions while luz saw willow and gus

"Here Morton this will help take away the poison from your body"
"Oh thanks"
"Y/n I'm going to talk with willow and gus,bye"
