Competition

It's been weird after what happened yesterday with the bat queen and luz who went through her trials getting owlbert back and eda being half herself and owl beast,so why not take the day slow....like that ever happens in the boiling Isles

Today was slow with barely any people shopping so they went to see why and there was a book fair with a writing competition

"I'm gonna enter the writing competition"
"Ugh what are these basement dwellers doing out in natural sun light"
"There in line for John de plume an author with a famous series"

King saw how the people were following de plumes orders and how much power he had over then

"I must have the same,luz the human I too shall enter the competition"
"Hey you two could partner up and make a great book"
"Yeah but my name goes first on the cover"

Y/n smiled at the two and looked for eda in the crowd

"Boring,boring,boring *gasp* another wrinkle the curse is quickening"
"What is quickening?"
"Aahhh!,y/n uhm...nothing nothing is-"

Eda pulled y/n with her under a sign and looked to see her sister with a coven guard

"Lilith"
"Do you have the idem we discussed?"
"Oh yes right here"
"This is excellent a map to the bloom of eternal youth I think the emperor will be very pleased"
"Ma'am should we be searching for the owl lady to join a coven,remember that whole plan?"
"My sisters curse has left her frail she'll still be here when we get back"

Eda and y/n came from there hiding spots and went to where Lilith got her map

"Hey bub,what'd you sell to my prissy sister?"
"Oh,a map to the bloom of eternal youth a rare flower that only grows once a millennia like the name says it gives eternal youth to whoever hold it"
"Interesting so Lilith wants to nab this power for the emperor,huh won't she be surprised when I get there first and get it for myself,ha that'll show her who's frail"
"Yes!,well um we'll see won't we can't go with out a map,of course"

The creature gave eda the map which let out a light blue color when opened,still y/n couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong with the creature and worried about what Lilith said

"Eda how about we go and tell luz and king we'll be out?"
"Yeah let's go"

AT THE HOUSE

Luz and king were already going ahead and wrote ideas for their book,then they got to typing the book out

"Luzura's tears fell on the frozen prince bringing him back to life,uh it feels a bit unrealistic"
"I see what your saying but in your version ruler just distroys everything,I think a little romantic tension could help that scene"

"I'll be back,we'll figure this out okay writing buddy?"

"Hey what's up,boss ladies?"
"We're popping out for a few days to an undisclosed place to do undisclosed things,you're in charge"

"Okay"

"Comming,luz since we'll be gone I already made food for you two and here have this"

"Yes they will keep you safe after last time with bq I thought why not leave rosetta with you?"

Luz saw them both fly off and she petted rosetta's head walking up the stairs

"Well king it's just us three for a while"*gasp*
