Suddenly, Gohan crashed into the ground. The unknown figure descended and stood over his unconscious body.
???: "I applaud you for being able to last this long against me. Unfortunately, it's not enough. Now, for the rest of you."
He turned his gaze to the other warriors who looked on in despair. Just as all hope seemed lost, four familiar figures appeared.
Beerus, the God of Destruction for Universe 7.
Whis, the angel of Universe 7.
Vegeta, Saiyan warrior of Universe 7.
Son Goku, Saiyan warrior of Universe 7.
Everyone: "GOKU! VEGETA!"
Goku: "Hey, everybody! You did good holding this guy off. Now, let us take care of the rest!"
???: "So, you've finally appeared. I've been waiting for you two. Son Goku! Vegeta!"
Current Time
Goku: "You've been waiting for us? Who are you?"
???: "Just a warrior looking an opponent that could actually challenge me. Your friends over there are good fighters, but their power next to mine is like an anthill next to mountain."
Vegeta: "Don't get too full of yourself. You've yet to face me or Kakarot in battle."
???: "That's right. Ever since I saw what you could do at the Tournament of Power, I've wanted to fight you. After the Tournament was over, I did nothing but train. Now, there is no one who can give me a decent fight. Not even the two of you will be able to defeat me."
Goku: "You saw us at the Tournament? Did you participate or were you just watching? Who are you anyway?"
Vegeta: "None of that matters right now, Kakarot! What matters is the fact that he thinks were just some pushovers! I will not tolerate anyone underestimating me! I'm going to crush him!"
Goku: "Hey, wait a minute, Vegeta! I wanted to fight him first!"
Vegeta: "No! Not this time, Kakarot! Every time we have a strong opponent, you get to fight him first! Beerus when he first arrived, Freiza after he came back to life, and Jiren! It's my turn to fight first! You just sit and watch!"
Beerus: "Vegeta is right, Goku. Besides, I want to see if Vegeta remembers what I taught him in our battle. Go on, Vegeta. Show this fool why you're my successor."
Vegeta: "Heh! With pleasure!"
As Vegeta began to power up, Goku noticed something. His energy was different then Super Saiyan God or Super Saiyan Blue. While it was still Divine Energy, he thought that it felt more. . . destructive. Similar to Beerus' energy, in fact.
Goku: "Lord Beerus, what did you teach Vegeta? His energy feels kinda like yours."
Beerus: "You'll see."
The cloud of smoke cleared and everyone could see Vegeta. He had achieved a new transformation. It was different than Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan Blue, but everybody could tell it was powerful. His hair and his eyes were purple, but his eyebrows had disappeared.
