"So, when are you going to tell me your story?"
"What?" Deku asked, his eyes watching the TV still as the insect hero met 2 more insect heroes -that were him but in different realities and timelines. "I mean, why and how you became a villain," Izuku asked, feeding Deku a chip.
"I told you, didn't I? I was pushed off the roof, then I was saved by the league." Deku said, munching on the chip.
"Yeah, but who pushed you? And why? What happened before that? How did the League treat you?"
Silence. Both continued to watch as they waited for one of them to talk. With Izuku casually feeding Deku some chips every 10 seconds of wait. Sighing, Deku asked. "Why do you even want to know?" Not really wanting to relive his past.
"Because I want to," Izuku answered, feeding Deku a chip. "Wait... Why am I feeding you?" He asked, finally realizing what he was unconsciously doing. Deku looked at him, confused, then realized the same thing. "Why are you feeding me?"
"..."
"..."
"Ughh." Izuku groaned, pausing the movie, and fully facing Deku. "Just tell me, I told you mine, so it's only fair you tell me yours."
"I did-"
"Fully, Deku." Izuku interrupted, his face solemn, as he looked at his counterpart. Deku, in return, looked at him with the same expression.
In the back of their minds, -it was weird, looking at each other like this. Well, what exactly are you supposed to feel when looking at yourself who was also not yourself? Unlike staring at the mirror, you know that's you, and you know everything about them. This was staring at yourself, who you don't know. A stranger.
Izuku hated that... He hated seeing himself as a stranger.
It reminded him of his middle school years. Where he would look at the mirror, beaten and bruised, with the same dark eyes as the person in front of him.
He shook his head to disregard the memory.
"So?" Izuku asked. Ignoring Deku's questioning look.
Deku sighed. Leaning back to the sofa, "What do you want to know?"
Izuku leaned forward, his green eyes locked unto the other. "Who pushed you?"
"..."
"Hey, quirkless! So you're back, huh?"
"We thought you were dead! Not that it isn't good news if you did." They cackled. Izuku continued to look down. Why... Am I back here? Just then, an explosion popped beside his head, making him fall off his chair. "Hey, Deku. Where the fuck were you?" Why am I back here in this hell? "You disappeared when we were in the first year of Junior High, and now here you are again, dumb shit, where the fuck were you for 2 years?"
Hisashi-san... Dad... Save me... Please...
"Aww, Bakugo, don't tell me you care about him- Ugh!"
