Splash!

Izuku breathed as he stared down at the water in the sink, his hands grasping the edges quite tight as he slowly looked up at his reflection in the mirror. A few water droplets ran down from his forehead to his nose, then to his chin as they dropped back down on the sink. Hanging his head low again. He recalled the memory Deku had just told him,

"Bakugo!"

Izuku didn't have enough time to dodge when he felt a familiar heat trickle his skin as his body was thrown to the side...

And out of the window.

That, and the smiling image of his used-be-best-friend,

He shooked his head, splashing his face again with cold water from the sink. Kacchan wouldn't do that in this reality -he wouldn't. We're good friends now, He thought, trying to be optimistic but groaning when he realized not much progress had been made between the two since Middle School, which is understandable since they never really talk about it. Izuku couldn't dare to -he didn't want to remember something so horrible in the past when we could instead focus on the future.

His breath hitched as he immediately looked up again, "Exactly!" He offhandedly yelled as he placed a finger on his mouth and his arm supported his elbow as he mumbled off to himself,

"I shouldn't pay that much attention to what he said- I mean, sure, it's sad, but like- yeah, it's depressive and quite in need of reve-" He stopped, shaking his head violently.

"Nonononono, stop, ughhh." He groaned, slowly crouching down on the cold bathroom floor. He tried not to think anymore and instead focus on calming himself, collecting his feelings and thoughts. But as he continued to try to silence his mind, the more it became louder. He held his head more, covering his ear as he started to breathe heavily.

KRING!!!

Sounded a loud high pitched piercing ring in his head as it ached more. He knelt down in pain as it continued to echo in his head. It hurt so much that he started to pull on his hair, messing the wild curls even more. Something wasn't right -that was obvious, but it didn't seem to be normal wasn't-right intuition. For some reason, it felt consuming, like something was consuming his mind, his being, his very soul.

He tried to calm down, but the feeling of being sucked down by a bottomless ocean scared him more than he could calm down.

He breathed more heavily as time seconds that felt like an eternity passed, it simply felt like time stopped, and the only audio he could ever hear was the ringing in his ear and the deep fast breaths he took.

CRASH!!

The bathroom shooked, causing him to shake the feeling off as well, he paused, confused about what had happened. I... What? Huh? He thought, looking around, feeling like an entity that wasn't there but was as he looked into the mirror. What, was that? He thought, but heard another crash downstairs like a wall getting destroyed.

CRASH!!!

That definitely was a wall.

Hurriedly getting up, opening the door, and rushing downstairs, he wondered what might've happened. He came into the scene, eyes widening when he saw half of the living room gone, debris scattered, and dust flying. Izuku covered his mouth and nose, squinting his eyes to avoid anything from getting into his body.

The smoke cleared, and he looked at the scene in shock. The counterpart who just told him he was killed by his best friend was fighting the best friend in his world.
