I've only mentioned this a few times on my message board, but here's the full thing while I'm at it- (and about to be on vacay)
It hasnt been made official, but there is a chance I was born with Congenital Anosmia (am-naws-e-uh)

Basically, I was born unable to smell. Like Colorblind people, they can see, but cant see certain colors. I can smell, just not scents. Cigarette Smoke, Vape Smoke, ect ALWAYS lowers my chance of being able to smell ever again. But now... I used to think that not being able to smell was normal. Like- people would have different "lucky days" to where they can smell. I.. I grew up thinking that was 100% normal- .. very very later on in life, I finally tell my mom "It isnt a lucky day for me yet." And of course I had to explain it to her and that's when I found out- it wasnt normal to not being able to smell. Now, Pros- Cant smell skunks, bad shoe scent, poop, trash scent, stink bugs, ect. You can tell just how humid/cold the air is (basically your nose can tell you the exact 'feels-like' temp of the air) (Also you can predict rain sometimes too)
Cons- I have 0% clue what I smell like to other people. I dont know if the house is moldy or not.
I was put on steroids in hopes of this getting better, (Of course this is when c0vid was too big and yea-) My mom didnt want me (and still doesnt) to get the vaccine, and this became as what I feared. She believed that medicine and food alters your brain and how you think due to "chemicals." ... So no, I havent been taking the steroids. But I remember when my mom and I would talk about the 'issue'/('non-official condition') she asked me if I felt pain, because Congenital Anosmia has been known to sometimes hurt. I didnt hurt at all- plus my nose was (and still is- sorta- stupid fall weather messin my sinuses up-) clean as heck- so normally no pain was really felt. But I should mention, there were no symptoms to this. So there was no way to tell (physically that) I couldnt smell. I still cant smell, and I don't know what a lot of things even smell like- some, I didnt even knew had a scent- So yea... I felt like it would be good to say this because if you meet me and ask "hey, can you smell this?" Or any question along smelling, I'm no help- All I pick up is A I R-
Best I can do is tell you if it's gonna rain or not by a single breath lol
But yea- Again, I don't know if it's official, the doctor put me on steroids to fix it, but idk. So dont say I officially have it, but there's a chance I might- Besides that, I can see far and hear well lol
