The Ultimate Villain

Chapter 1 - Akuma Alert! Eraser/Lila

No one moved. Everyone glared at Lila.

"Lila!" Alya yelled, tears in her eyes. "It's your fault Marinette is dead!"

"Why would you do that?!" Nino asked.

"You're no longer our friend," Adrien said, nailing the final strike, "I don't know who would be friends with you. You're responsible for murder,"

Lila's whole body is shaking. Tears spill silently out of her eyes.

"G-guys..." she mutters. "It... it was just an accident! I-I didn't even..."

"Accident or not, it's still your fault," Alya says. "I'm telling Mr. Damocles,"

Everyone walked away, leaving Lila in tears. She collapses onto the ground. She sobs. She hadn't meant to. She had never tried to kill Marinette.

Shadow Moth smirks.

He had recently fixed the peacock miraculous, and was now waiting for his first victim.

"A poor girl being treated harshly for something that was an accident. Such wonderful prey for my-"

Shadow Moth stops. He senses a peculiar emotion. He chuckles.

"Well isn't that interesting," he mutters. He takes a butterfly, and turns it into an akuma, "Fly away my little akuma, and evilize the broken soul,"

Lila had been brought home. Her mother refused to talk to her. She'd heard about what had happened. Lila hadn't slept all night, and hadn't been able to bring herself to attend Marinette's funeral that morning.

Suddenly, Lila lifts her head up. The akuma mask appears in front of her face. There's silence for a moment.

"Eraser, I am Shadow Moth. You've been blamed for something that was a complete accident. I'm giving you the power to erase yourself from the event. All I ask in return is Ladybug and Chat Noir's miraculous,"

Lila smirks, and begins to chuckle.

"They won't remember what hit them!"

Lila's covered in the purple goop like light, which fades.

Nino supports Alya, who's crying. The funeral had ended a few minutes earlier.

"I-I can't... I can't believe she's gone," Alya sobs.

"It's... hard to accept," Nino agrees, holding his girlfriend tight.

"She had so much to live for!" Alya says, still sobbing, "Fashion designing, her crush... everything! She-she's too young to go..."

Alya continues to sob, Nino supporting her.

"What a lovely sight. Mourning your friend who passed. But it wasn't my fault you know,"

Alya opens her eyes, and she and Nino look around. Their eyes land on a girl standing next to the mound of dirt that Marinette now lay beneath.

She had bright red hair, in a sausage-like hairdo. She wore a red dress that stopped at her knees, and was barely not the same shade as her hair. She wore black combat boots with 4 inch soles.

"Lila?" Alya asked. The outfit was trash.

Lila glares at them.

"I'm not Lila anymore! Lila was ridiculed! Always blamed! I'm Eraser!"

Alya and Nino stare at her for a beat.

Then they burst into laughter.

"Eraser?! What, has Hawkmoth run out of ideas?!" Alya says, gasping for breath from laughing so hard.
