"YOU AGREED?!" Jolina shouted dramatically that made me rolled my eyes.

"OA mo tanga." I replied that made her chuckled. Ibinagsak nya ang sarili sa kama sa tabi ko.

"Sabi ko na kayo talaga para sa isa't isa e. Malakas kutob ko dati pa!" She added while making gestures using her hands.

I shooked my head before returning to what I'm doing. She already graduated accountancy last last year.

Actually, most of our friends are. They're already building their careers, making money, traveling the world. But here I am, getting stressed in law school.

"Sigurado magiging matalino yung anak nyo, tapos maganda pa lahi. Sabihin mo agad pag lalaki ha, para after ilang years ako naman magbubuntis tapos babae para may age gap." She kept on spitting nonsense, I'm actually listening but my other attention is on my book, reading almost half of it.

Tangina, ayoko na.

"Doctor at Lawyer. Shet, sanaol." She said again.

Napakamot ako sa kilay at napatingin sa kama ko, it's a mess. Like me.

I looked so stress right now, I just woke up and I won't even planning to, but Jolina came and ruin my sleep. Pagkadilat ko ay nakita kong alas dyes na ng umaga at hindi pa ko nakakapagbasa ng case na hindi ko alam kung paano ko tatapusin sa sobrang haba.

She just keep on talking when I started cleaning my bed, inayos ko na ang mga bond paper at papel na nandon, pati ang makakapal na libro na mas makapal pa sa mukha ni Jolina.

"I forgot, sabay sabay na daw tayo mag lunch later." Jolina said so I stopped on picking the papers.

"Sino may sabi?"

"Dame," she answered with a grin. Napaawang ang labi ko at mabilis na inabot ang phone. I can't go out today, I have a lot of readings and I don't know where to start. Why did I even prioritize that goddamn kindle?!

I saw his messages and our group chat but I chose to open his first.

Doctor na takot sa dugo:

Lunch later, nagyaya Benj.
Don't bring your books please.

I licked my lips before typing for an answer.

Me:

Can't. Have a lot of readings.

I opened our group chat after sending that.

Waiting to get jailed:

Pre help, nahulog ko yung dugo ni Dame.
AYOKO PA MAMATAY GAGO.
HINDI NYA PA ALAM OMFG.

I chuckled at her that made Jolina peek at my phone too. Natawa sya at akmang aagawin ang phone ko para tawagan si Cha ng may mag pop-up na message galing kay Dame.

Doctor na takot sa dugo:

Same, but eating lunch wouldn't take too much time right?

I sighed at his response. Natawa naman si Jol at sya na ang nag reply.

"Ligo na! Saglit lang naman yon!" She said and pushed me towards the bathroom. Binato nya sa akin ang twalya ko at sinara ang pinto pero naiharang ko ang kamay ko.

"Favor CPA Velasquez, pakiligpit gamit ko ha? Just put it on the table." I said and gave her a flying kiss before closing the door. Hindi na ako nagtagal dahil marami pa talaga akong gagawin at wala pakong nasisimulan.

Paglabas ko ay gamit ni Jol ang phone ko habang nakahiga sa kama. I can see her scrolling but I didn't mind and just chose my clothes on the closet, tinamad ako kaya nag jeans nalang ako at simpleng croptop. Jol is just wearing the same so I didn't bother to change.
