"I said I was fine, but I never said it didn't hurt."

~3rd Person's PoV

Jin, Ara and Hobi sprint out of the cafeteria in different directions, in search of their best friend. They run down the hallways of the campus looking for Eunji. They try and fail in their hunt when they do not find her on the campus grounds. They meet again near the cafeteria slightly out of breath.

"Did you find her?" Ara asks the two boys nervously.

"No." Both the boys shake their heads negatively.

"Where the fuck has she gone?" Ara cries out in frustration.

"Did you call her again? Could she have gone back home?" Jin asks slightly out of breath.

"Her phone is switched off. She is not home because I know she forgot her set of keys in the morning," Ara says racking her brain for the places her best friend could be.

"Oh god, how could I forget this," Hobi slaps his forehead in realisation, "there is this park with a small pond near our campus. She goes there to see the cute chicks and ducks. We should go look there." Hobi suggests.

"Let's go," Ara takes off without wasting a second.

They pile into Jin's car and drive towards the park. Upon reaching the park, Ara shoots out of the car even before Jin could stop. She frantically searches around the park for any sign of Eunji being there.

Some amount of relief washes over Ara as she spots her best friend sitting on a bench and blankly looking at the pond.

"You bloody, bloody idiot," Ara gushes out walking towards Eunji, the boys hot on her trail.

Eunji turns her head towards the familiar voice of her best friend and all the emotions she had barely pushed down her throat clawed their way back at the sight of Ara. Her already red eyes welled up once again as tears threatened to come out.

Ara's eyes softened at Eunji's face. She rushed beside her and pulled Eunji delicately into her embrace as if she were to break any moment.

And she did. The moment Eunji was enveloped in her best friend's hug, she broke down. All the emotions she had been bottling up for the past few weeks burst out altogether.

"My poor baby," Ara sighs holding her arms tighter around the crying girl.

The boys stood a few feet away from them, letting Ara handle Eunji. Their heart broke a little for the girl when they heard her cries.

Silent sobs racked Eunji's body as she still tried to get a hold of her emotions. She could not be weak, she thought. She was always strong for everyone. She bites her lip to prevent them from wobbling and goes to pull back. Ara tightens her hold on her, cradling her head on her shoulder.

"It's okay babe, let it all out," Ara tenderly strokes Eunji's head while keeping a stronghold on her.

The dam to Eunji's tears breaks as she clutches onto Ara's t-shirt, resting her head on her shoulder. Loud sobs racked Eunji's body as her shoulders shook violently. The tears rolled down non stop on her cheeks. Her eyes turned bloodshot and her face was flustered. Her breath hitches as she gasps for more and more air. Snot forms at her nose but Ara doesn't seem to mind it. She holds her best friend in a delicate yet stronghold as she lets all of her emotions out.
