Lovely feeling
Staring at the dark ocean
Hearing the waves crashing against the dock with the two of you
Making me feel all kinds of peace
We joke saying someone will confess their love to us here
Dramatically like romance stories always do
And I won't lie hopefully someday someone will
Cuz that's what I expect in the back of my mind
What the books movies and dramas made me want
I'm giving myself a chance to finally feel like a teenager
To not fight to survive too much
Just act dumb for a while every now and again
Irresponsible
Impulsive
and most of all
Emotionally dramatic
For the fun of it
As long as it doesn't really hurt
And I'm careful with how far I go
I wanna be a teenager for as long as I have left
Since I missed out on so much of the experience fighting with darkness in my head
