Chapter 15

A few minutes ago Kasumi and Daiki looked at the birds together and Kasumi and Daiki tried to get the parrots to copy them. They can be so weird sometimes. But I wonder where they are?

Mr.Peanutbutter stares at an eel tank and yells out, "Who wants anago?" rubbing his belly. My eyes roll so hard I get a migraine.

A cloud of dread passes through me, my ribs tighten as I sense Miyu gets closer. Or maybe it's the exhibits saying great barrier reef and other environments being destroyed. It's sad seeing this happen.

Kasumi hums and I hear her steps behind me. She is always there for me but I have to tell her. "Kasumi, I know you want to protect me, but don't keep following me. You heard Marina, if you continue like this you are actually harming me. Believe me, I can do it. Me and Daiki will be an amazing official couple but I won't forget about us. I won't lose to Miyu."

Kasumi almost slumps her shoulders but picks herself back up and playfully smiles, "I believe in you, Arisa-pyon." She walks back to Saaya and O-Tae While I look for Daiki.

Chisato and Kaoru look at dolphins together and Kaoru tells me, "Kasumi tis a spoony singer. But your fleeting masquerade awaits!"

I guess that's what I like about her. She is sincere yet silly and spontaneous.

Ako's jaw drops as she stares at Himari carrying a bag that has a tiger with purple flames around it.

Ako says, "Th-that is so cool!" She rolls on the ground. "I want I want I want!" Ako runs to her yelling, "Gimme gimme gimme! It's my bag!"

Himari yells back, "No no no!"

Me and Yukina rush over and Yukina says, "Ako, we can't mess around. We have serious matters to attend to."

She stops and Himari takes her bag back and Ako nervously giggles, "He he he he, sorry, it's just, well..."

Lisa interrupts, "Part of a challenge. You got your bag back so here is a bag of cookies."

Himari looks around scratching the back of her head. "Thanks Lisa. I see Ako is getting weird and impulsive again." And walks away.

Yukina glares at Ako, "What has gotten into you, Ako-chan?"

"I really really wanted that bag, it was just so cool and everyone will think I'm cool if I have it. Sorry for embarrassing you Yukina senpai."

Yukina closes her eyes sighing. "Ako. Remember earlier this week when we were cleaning the end of our hallway at school and you pretended to be a warlock?"

Ako taps her fingers, "Umm..."

Yukina smiles. "It was cute and a good manga."

I know she wanted to say it was embarrassing but I can tell they care for each other very much.

I tell Yukina, "Miyu is coming and I don't know what she's up to. She spread rumors about me, said I was trying to steal Daiki from her, and when Daiki ask me to be his official girlfriend she becomes more crazy and jealous."

Yukina confidently tells me. "You and Miyu don't compare in body or looks. You two are far apart in many ways, but he likes you. And I know you like him. I mean as friends, you two convincingly pretend dating."

We walk over to the bags and Ako's squinting holding up the cute cat eco bag. "Do you like it Yukina senpai?"

Yukina blushes shaking, "I love it Ako. But we must still practice later."

Ako slumps her shoulders as she whimpers, "Aww but I want to spend more time with the cute animals."

Yukina half smiles taking a step closer to Ako, "Then again I plan on taking you to a great ramen place when we can, and know a place with cool bags." And winks at her.
