Chapter Ten

(Xyra's P.O.V)

I wake up with my mind made up. Ezra will become my friend. I didn't exactly know why I was so dead set on making him my friend, something told me. I put my shoes on and walk out my room. "Good morning Xy" I smile at Liam. "Where is my princess Venus?" I look around and see her pop out from the table. I scoop her up and my mom scolds me. "Drop that cat and start eating, you have to leave soon"

I grab my keys and start heading to school. On the way there I notice Ezra standing and looking around. I camp in my car and watch, he looked anxious in a way. Suddenly I hear a knock on my window. I turn around and see Jared staring at me with a wide smile on his face. I get out the car and look around, "Hi Jared" "What were you looking at Ms.Mendes." I blush and grab my backpack. "Nothing. Let's go and meet up with Winter".

We enter the double doors and I'm attacked by Winter. "Xy bae I have so much to tell you" I hug her back and give her a confused look. "Don't worry nothing bad of course." She beams and I hear Jared huff. "Why can't I be greeted with a hug as well?" Winter rolls her eyes and gives him a bear hug. He blushes and hugs her back. I giggled "Now who's the one blushing?" He quickly lets go. "Anyways, Let's go get breakfast I'm hungry"

(Ezra's P.O.V)

I look around the cafeteria and see Xyra walk in along with Winter and Jared. I roll my eyes at the thought of yesterday. She really thought it was going to be that easy? "Ezra you good?" I look over at Mason and give him a confused look. "Yeah why?" "You're holding that spoon a bit too tightly" I look down and let go of the spoon. I give him a smile and keep looking at Xyra. She had a skirt with thigh high socks. Her hair bounced around and God, her legs could go for days. She turns around and makes eye contact with me. I freeze and see her walking towards my table. "Hi guys, mind if we sit here?"

Mason and his girlfriend nod and she sits down. Out of all the seats she decides right beside me was the best. They start talking and she looks over at me. "How's your morning going Ezzy?" I look over "Ezzy?" "I felt like giving you a nickname" I nod but my heart beats faster. She used to call me that, could it be she remembers me? "Right, uh it's good I suppose" "Perfect, now can I please know why you hate me so much?" My smile vanishes and I frown. "I don't hate you Xy, we just started of on the wrong foot" I give in, I couldn't avoid her much longer. Just her being here reminds me so much of MY Xyra. She smiles, her smile was so perfect. I smile back and she hands me her phone. "Put your number in" I type and see her staring.

(Xyra's P.O.V)

I look at Ezra and smile, we are starting to get along. The bell rings and he hands me my phone. "See you around princess" He winks and walks off leaving me stunned along with everyone else. "Princess?" "I know!" I shout and look at my phone. Ezra Ramirez, just what are you planning.
