Season 1: Chapter IV - Siege

Lucas checks on his daughter Arianna, who is still awake making sounds

Lucas: Hi there sweetie! What are you still doing up?

Lucas sits next to her crib and picks up a guitar and starts playing a soft melody which calms down Arianna

After he finishes the melody, he plays and sings a song to Arianna called, Niño Precioso which she falls asleep to and shortly after, Lucas falls asleep as well

Lucas wakes up the next morning and looks at Arianna who is still asleep when his wife walks in

Carla: Hi, I came in last night to look for you and found you asleep but you looked pretty comfortable so I didn't want to wake you. Lucas: Oh yeah, I came in to check on Arianna and I guessed I crashed out after putting her to sleep. Carla: Are you going back to work? Lucas: No... not for another couple more hours. Carla: Are you okay?

Lucas in his head, is hearing the sounds of gun fire and officers dying

Lucas: Yeah...

He gets up to wash his face

After he finishes washing his face, he stares down at the sink

At Azrael's camp, he is making a strategy to use against Crimson Dawn when El Chapo barges in

El Chapo: You son of a bitch! You think you could go behind my back and try to make allies with this Crimson Dawn cartel? Azrael: How did you? El Chapo: I always know! Azrael: You bastard! You sent your spies! El Chapo: Attempting to make peace with the enemy is treason! Azrael: Only because I wanted to use them, for there supplies! El Chapo: Lies!

El Chapo punches Azrael which turns him around and knocks him onto one knee

El Chapo: You seek to undermine me!

Azrael, enraged, uses the force to choke El Chapo

Azrael: Let's not forget!

Azrael stands back up and tightens his grip which brings El Chapo to his knees

Azrael: Who's in charge here!

Azrael let's his grip go

Azrael: They're preparing for war. My spies have reported an army's worth of men. El Chapo: And now you want me help? Azrael: Don't be stupid, you and I both know neither of us stand a chance alone, as soon as one of us goes down that's it for the other. El Chapo: Don't talk to me about working together or what's best for the syndicate! Pacho's still in U.S. custody and you haven't done a single Azrael: I tried, they moved him before we got there, in fact why haven't you tried! El Chapo: I am held up here holding this syndicate together ever since your dad was killed!

Azrael scoffs and starts leaving

Azrael: Please. Get your men ready! I'd like to attack before they get a chance to.

At the Crimson Dawn base Vandal is overlooking his men

Vandal: Today marks a new era for the syndicate, today we rise to heights we've never achieved before. Dryden Vos: We have given you more than enough troops.

A hologram projector comes up next to him projecting Vos

Dryden Vos: Maybe more than necessary. Vandal: No, with our sheer numbers victory is nothing but assured! Dryden Vos: Good! For your sake it better!
