Dark Forces: The Cartel War

Season 2: Chapter I - Paris

The newly formed Dark Force, comprised of John Cohen, Chris Cardenas, Gallus Walker, and Mara Walker, has been deployed in the dead of night in the Middle East to find and destroy explosives

They rappel down a helicopter, land in the middle of an abandoned base, and enter a storage building

Chris and Mara stay outside to watch the entrance while John and Gallus enter

They spot a few hostiles of unknown origin running across the other end of the hallway and kill them before they get spotted

They approach the bodies

John: Tennant, intel was right, something's going on over here, but I don't think it's the Taliban. Tennant: Are you sure? John: These guys seem better equipped. Tennant: Keep searching, find out who we're dealing with.

Gallus walks up to a storage container and opens it to find it empty

Gallus: Cohen! John: What did you find? Gallus: What do you think this held?

John checks the container with a scanner and finds residue of gas

John: Chemical Weapons. Gallus: Chemical? Then where the hell is it? John: Shit! Tennant, come in. We found what they were after, chemical explosives, it's all been cleared out. We've got explosives out in the wild.

Back at The Pentagon, Tennant is livid. Nicholas Reeves is next to him.

Tennant: Did I just hear what I think I did? How the hell did the Taliban have chemical weapons and no one knew? Nick: Our intel was off. We're dealing with someone new, someone dangerous with connections. Who do you think it could be? Tennant: I don't know, Reeves! But what I do know is that we have missing bombs and we have to find them before whoever has them gets a chance to use them.

In Paris, a van is driving towards the US Embassy as they listen to a recording of their leader

Leader: U.S. forces, on our soil, invading our land, killing our own flesh and blood.

A man steps out from the back of the van and steps into a crowded area as the van drives on to the property

Leader: Today marks the beginning of a revolution and it won't stop until every U.S. soldier in the Middle East is gone!

The man takes off his shirt to reveal a bomb vest and grabs a detonator

Leader: We are Al-fajr Aljadid...

At the Pentagon, John is walking towards a room as he's been summoned

When he walks into the room a man is facing away from him, The President

President: Cohen, do you mind telling me how terrorists managed to get their hands on chemical explosives?

The president turns around to look at him

President: Your team was meant to prevent this sort of thing from happening and now we have bodies piled up in France! John: We had them, our intel was solid but they had already mobilized by the time we got there. I can assure you, Mr. President, that my team and I will find out who the leader of this new group is.

In the early hours of the day Gallus and Mara are on a helicopter headed to Paris to investigate the bombing

Gallus: Just like back on Coruscant. Mara: Don't remind me.

They arrive at the U.S. Embassy building which is partially destroyed

It's still taped off as covered bodies still cover the street
