Treatment

Yunlan watched wide eyed. He even forgot the pain for a while for as the professor with his geeky appearance performed a spectacular show.
He watched as with a slight jump and bent joints the cuffed hand got in front with ease.....a sign of great agility, how snatching the gun from the closest person a.k.a the leader he shot a bullet at the chain between cuffs and also hit the leader with the same bullet....a sign of practiced perception, how he moved between the so called tough mafia gang members silently yet deadly enough to leave them on their knees.....a sign of ruthlessness, and how the buff people wailed clutching their dislocated or broken bones after he moved from them...a sign of brute strength. Only now Yunlan understood what it was that actually brought him towards this man. The hidden danger in his eyes. His eyes, obscured with the glasses looked innocent but still held the hint of ruthless danger and who doesn't know that Yunlan is a sucker for dangers. It's just he got his brains eaten by ants when he got the abrupt news of the kidnap and came here without thoughts or preparation. Sigh......

Yunlan winced. The hand which was breaking and snapping bones a moment ago lifted him up with great gentleness but still it hurts......a lot.
   "Bear a little more love, we'll treat you as soon as possible"
To say the action a moment before shocked him was not enough.. he was speechless too. Shen Wei cradled him to his chest and called him love... Well... Surprises never end. The chest hidden beneath the dress shirt and vest felt sturdy and wide enough. His neck was uncomfortable, so he leaned on the shoulder and thought... 'damn.. can i get used to this?? Minus the pain though...'
If Wei had the time to understand his thoughts, he would've broken his other leg too..

Wei looked back from the pilot seat. Yunlan was drifting in and out of consciousness from the blood loss and pain. Though he's used to this much of pain and injuries,. Still... Yunlan has a weak immune system thanks to his irregular and horrible lifestyle. Wei sped up to the nearest hospital available.
     He knew the man's intention. He thought he can just stay indifferent. When this evening he was hit from behind and vaguely felt himself carried his first thought was, 'how did they find?'
Later he understood this may be some kind of misunderstanding. So he remained in his character and stayed motionless. With splash of water he was trying to adjust his eyes through the water and light when he heard his voice. He was stunned. There's no misunderstanding, they were after Yunlan. The moment they fired at Yunlan was the moment he nearly lost it. Only the sight of a pained Yunlan kept him sane enough to not break their necks. When he lifted the man up, he understood how light Yunlan is and that was another twinge to his heart. So he cradled him to his chest. He doesn't know what he told him to comfort. He just knows that he can't lose Yunlan.

Shen Wei heard the footsteps behind but didn't look back. After calling the public no. of Yunlan's office he stood outside the OT to wait for him. The lady of the group, Zhu Hong lashed out. Da Qing was annoyed too. If not for this weak love interest, would their invincible chief had gotten hurt?  Who gets kidnapped this easily??
It was only when Chu Shuzi stopped them they did. Chu wanted to pat Shen Wei's shoulder but looked at his evaded hand a bit awkward, then smiled, " you should get yourself treated too."
Shen Wei looked at the slight embarrassed face of the previously lashing people then softly said, "I'll wait for him first."
As if on cue the OT opened. A doctor in scrub came out then sighed looking at Shen Wei, "He'll be alright. The bullets didn't damage any internal organ only a leg is broken. We have fixed it. Blood has been given, and also his muscle injuries are treated. The thing we're worried about is his rate of healing. He is almost on the verge of malnourishment. It'll take long for him to recover fully. "
Doctor took a long breath before opening his mouth again. "There... You know his whole condition now. Can please co-operate with us now? I'm really afraid of you having a bad concussion given the area you're hit."
Shen Wei blankly nodded. Before following the doctor he looked back at Chu Shuzi for a moment. If Chu saw something in his eyes, he never mentioned it to his colleagues.
