Pout

Opening his eyes, the first thing Yunlan noticed is the white ceiling, the second is a numbing pain through whole body. His stomach felt uncomfortable too. He had to blink several times recalling the event that landed him here.
   "Fuck" he cursed before training his eyes on the only door of the room.
Eventually the door opened but to his dismay, it's the lunatic bunch of his colleagues. Seeing him awake the burst into relieved sighs and happy chatters. Yunlan was getting annoyed when he heard something unexpected. Zhu Hong inched towards him and asked, "Hey Chief, say.. how did you manage to get the whole bunch of mobs on your own while having such injuries?"
Yunlan blinked. It was not him. How come they didn't know? He opened his mouth to refute when a loud sneeze echoed in the room
  "Sorry", Chu wiped his nose with a tissue.
Yunlan sighed. When he wanted to talk about it again, the door opened revealing his handsome professor. Instantly Yunlan forgot everything including how to talk.
He watched the man wearing a baggy full sleeve sweater pushed the glasses up his nose before half bowing towards his colleagues. His other hand held several bags of food. Yunlan watched his traitor colleagues run to the bags like they haven't eaten in a year. Yunlan pouted.
Shen Wei had a soft smile on his lips with a homemade lunch box in his hand. He asked softly, "how are you feeling?"
Yunlan pouted a bit more. The corner of Wei's lips twitched a bit. Ignoring the pout he opened the lunchbox, "you can have light food. So i made congee. Open up..."
There was a spoon near his mouth. Yunlan's eyes burned. How many days.... No...years have it been when he last saw this gesture sitting on a hospital bed? Blinking rapidly he controlled the burn and opened his mouth. The liquid lukewarm food had mild flavour but it warmed the very core of his soul.
In between feeding him Wei asked, "won't you talk?"
"Did you cook for them too?" Yunlan pointed at his colleagues who was stuffing their faces. Wei tapped his forehead with a helpless smile,
   " I only had time to cook this. Those are take out food."
Yunlan pouted at him with puppy eyes. Wei's eyebrows furrowed,  "What is it?"
"You didn't call me love..."
Wei kneaded his temple, then shoved another spoonful food into the pouting patients mouth.

Shen Wei looked at the person latching on him. He didn't ask Yunlan to hide the event but merely prevented from saying it out loud once. After that he never mentioned it. But he'll do everything in his power to stick close to him.. like now. The man sitting on a wheelchair was waving at his colleagues to say goodbye while gripping his right hand like a vice. From the moment he heard about discharge he is like that. Reason??? "You'll run and not take me with you if I don't do that".... Like what the..... ... Nevermind.
They are in front of Wei's personal house. It's a two story building with a little rustic environment equipped with enough modernity needed. It's surrounded with a small man-made forest too. It's Wei's personal heaven.
The moment they were out of others eyes and in front of the house door, the patient on wheelchair tugged his hand so hard that Wei had to stumble a bit.
"What now?"
Yunlan asked for a hug!!....
"...... ......"
Yunlan impatiently stomped with his good leg, "Come on... I wanna see my future house already.."
"Why are you asking for a hug then?"
Yunlan giggled, "No idiot. I'm asking you to carry me inside. Since I'm weak for now, I'll accept the role of a wife in a newlyweds first day in a house.."
Wei stood with a stoic blank look directed at him. But Yunlan already mastered his professor's body language these days. So his red ears and flushed neck didn't evade his eyes. He giggled again when Wei lifted him up a bit stiffly but with extreme caution.
'Can i ask for a kiss now. Nah... Professor probably will run again. Huaaaah........ Can't this man be a bit more romantic? Must i have to squeeze him for everything??"

Yunlan pouted again.
