It was Aragorn who was the first to recover a few minutes later. "Legolas! Get them up!" he called to the elf as he wiped off his sword and put it away. Numbly, Legolas complied, rousing the hobbits to their feet. Xiumin and D.O hauled Sehun to his feet and he let them, not having the energy or mindset to do so. Baekhyun and Chen stood up, going over to the hobbits to try and comfort them while Yeona pulled away from Chanyeol, wiping her tears away; they kept falling despite this action. "Give them a moment for pity's sake!" Boromir snapped but Aragorn replied with, "By nightfall, these hills will be swarming with orcs. We must reach the woods of Lothlorien. Come Boromir. Legolas. Gimli, get them up. On your feet Sam," as he pulled Sam to his feet.
"Where's Frodo?" Lay asked and everyone looked around for the dark-haired hobbit, soon finding him walking away in the distance. "Frodo!" Aragorn called after him. Frodo stops walking and turns to face Aragorn, tears rolling down his face. After a few seconds, Aragorn now leads the remaining Fellowship away from the rocky hills, and after an hour or two of jogging, no one talked as they reached the edge of a forest. As they entered the forest, Chen and Sehun started to remember where they were. "We're being watched," Xiumin spoke up after a few minutes of walking through the forest. The others were on edge but Chen and Sehun on the other hand weren't much to the others' confusion but barely noticeable. "Stay close, young hobbits, guardians. They say that a great sorceress lives in these woods. An elf-witch of terrible power." Gimli started to say while holding Frodo's arm and putting a hand on Kyungsoo's shoulder.
"Oh boy, here he goes," Baekhyun groaned while shaking his head while Gimli continued as if he didn't hear his words. "All who look upon her fall under her spell... and are never seen again." He warned, here both Sehun and Chen snorted. "Now I know that's a loud of bogus. Hyung and I appeared here after talking with Lorien and look where we are." Sehun said, walking past Gimli who glared at him. "Aragorn, this is not wise," Boromir muttered, nervously. "I too have heard tales of the Lady of the Golden Wood. I do not deem it a good decision to enter this cursed forest," "Well! This is one dwarf she won't ensure so easily. I have the eyes of a hawk, and ears of a fox!" He continued, as Sehun lifted his head slightly, sniffed the air then stopped. "Come on out already. We know you're there, We don't mean any harm," There was a muffled curse from somewhere, then the bushes rustle as a group of elves showed themselves.
"The dwarf breathes so loudly, we could have shot him in the dark," A fair-haired elf, who seemed to be in charge of the group, said as he stepped forwards and Gimli growled in response while everyone else chuckled but it was tinged with loss. "Haldir, still the same as always," Chen commented with a smile. Aragorn gave the elf now identified as Haldir, a small bow and said something in elvish. "Aragorn, these woods are perilous. We should go back," Gimli said and Aragorn shot him a look. "Go back to what Gimli? If I remember correctly, we just barely escaped those Orcs in Moria, and Baekhyun got hurt," Lay spoke up, raising an eyebrow and Gimli reluctantly kept quiet.
Haldir glanced contemptuously at the dwarf and pulled out a blindfold. "We cannot allow a dwarf to see the secrets of the Golden Wood. You must be blindfolded," Gimli glared at him. "I will not consent to this. I will never submit to an elf," His hand went to the haft of his ax, and Haldir as well as others groaned. "A plague on the stiff necks of dwarves," was heard from somewhere among the Lothlorien elves. "Gimli I swear you're making this harder on all of us, not just yourself with that dwarf stubbornness," D.O said, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I consent but if I'm to be blindfolded, then Legolas shares my blindness," The dwarf said rather reluctantly and Haldir stepped forward but stopped when he continued and Legolas' eyes widened in a horrified expression.
"I will not consent to this! I am an elf and a kingsman!" The elf prince defended. The guardians groaned again and Sehun, D.O, Yeona, and Xiumin were starting to lose their patience; Yeona and D.O the most. The two began to argue and Aragorn was about to step in but Yeona beat him to it. Grabbing both the dwarf and elf by an arm, she pulled them off to the side and started speaking to them both. "The both of you need to get a grip. This unnecessary conflict between elves and dwarves will start affecting our journey one way or another. Either the both of you call a truce or silently argue with one another."
