Alright, another shitty day well almost, David said that today we could be free for the day well for once. I walk outside my tent on my way to get breakfast and then I see Nikki and neil already there. "Oh, hey guys." I said while having a yawn. "Oh hey Max" Nikki said with a smile, just something about it gives me a weird but happy feeling
Nikki's pov
Wow, I never thought I would be this happy to see Max this morning, meh just a feeling(2x) lemme just eat breakfast.

After breakfast me,Nikki, and neil walk outside until neil says that he'd be somewhere else, I thought nothing of it and tried to get a conversation going on with Nikki. "I'm kinda bored,you?" "Yeah, very." Nikki replied " let's go chill somewhere, maybe by the lake?" Ok sure." Nikki said. We then sit against a tree until our arms touch and I pull away almost instantly, but why did I? I thought as I felt myself blush a little. COME ON MAX YOU'RE OVERREACTING
Nikki's pov
Max and I touch arms and max pulled away but I wondered why, I thought and thought but for some reasons these thoughts made me a little bit sad, w-wait..d-do I like max?! No that can't be it JUST SNAP OUT OF IT NIKKI! I think to myself. "S-sorry max." I say with a chuckle "no, it's fine" max said as he looked away. "Well the lake looks nice today but I just feel like doing something y'know?" "Yeah same but idk what, we could explore the forest?" Max suggested "okay!" I say cheerfully as we both stood up.
Max's pov
Despite that little awkward moment I'm starting to enjoy hanging out with this girl but I have been noticing that I get like a happy but weird feeling whenever I'm with her, wait..do I like N-nikki?! No no you don't, I kept telling myself until I realized I zoned out at that time "MAAAAAX" "oh! Uh what? Sorry about" "it's fine ig but come on let's keep walking" Nikki said as I followed behind her but the question kept hitting me, do I like her? Well whatever the answer was I just followed nikki the rest of the way until she decided we headed back.
