"seriously, willow. who the heck is my co-star?" i asked for the millionth time.

"promise you won't freak out." she said.

"no promises." i huffed.

"your ex." she said not really getting straight to the point.

"i swear to god, willow. i would choke you right now. just tell me his name. i had a lot of past boyfriends who are actors and i do not know which one." i said, frustratedly.

"luke hemmings." fu.ck.

"oh my god. from all people why luke? he isn't even an actor for god's sake. he's in a fucking band. why the hell is he doing a movie with me?" i yelled.

"it is to promote their new album and the fans requested this and apparently they wanted you." she explained. "i know you guys didn't really end that well but this could be big, chris! there are pros and cons to this but it could be the biggest breakthroughs of your career. it's just for six months. you can handle this, chris. he is just your co-worker and he means nothing to you, okay?" she reassured.

i simply nodded and sighed.

"you still love him, do you?" she sighed.

"unfortunately, i still do." i said and my eyes started to well up.

i could remember it like it was just yesterday.

-flashback-

i walked in the studio to be greeted by the crew and i smiled at them simply. i had donuts and pizza in hand to surprise the boys. i came out to the elevator and didn't bother knocking on their door since they're just probably fooling around.

i went inside and saw calum, ash and mikey sitting with their phones on hand but there was no luke. they looked up at me with shocked faces.

"it seems like you guys just saw a ghost. where is luke?" i asked them as they stayed silent.

i heard a giggle and a chuckle outside and the door bursted open with luke and a blonde and luke's arm around her waist.

i instantly dropped the donuts and pizza and my jaw dropped. i can't believe it.

they looked at me in shock and you could cut the tension with a knife in here. the boys behind me and luke and this girl in front of me. the boys looked at me with worried eyes because of how silent i am. i'm speechless. i don't know what else to say. by the shocked looks of the boys and the view of what i'm seeing right now, it was all i needed to know what is happening.

"look, chris. i can explain." luke started and walked towards me, leaving the blonde.

i backed away from him and just sighed. "you don't have to explain. how long were you doing this?" i asked him.

"3 months." he said, embarrassed.

"three months. that so cool. we've been together for how long? a year, supposed to be two next week but i guess two years won't happen." i said as i felt hot tears stream down my cheeks.

the boys gave me sad looks and i just smiled weakly at them.

"chris, i'm really sorry. i didn't mean-"

"it's okay, luke. no need to apologize. enjoy the donuts and pizza i bought. hope you have fun with blondie." i said harshly and gave him a sarcastic smile. i roughly snatched my bag from the chair and went out of the room with a slam on the door.

-end of flashback-

and that was just a year ago and i guess we have to see each other again.

"you know what. i can do this. this is my career and i'll do anything to make it better." i smiled proudly.

"good. now let's forget about luke for now and let's just enjoy our day." she said.

"starbucks?" i asked her.

"great minds think alike." she winked and we headed out to the nearest starbucks.

just hope this movie won't be horrible.

luke~

"boys, you will be starting in a movie!" our manager cheered.

"that's so cool! who's the lucky girl we're working with?" michael asked, excitedly.

i grabbed my water bottle and drank some of it.

"christina davis." i spat my water out and it went to calum making him wet.

"what?!" i exclaimed.

"i said-" he started but i cut him off. "i heard what you said. who will get the lead role?" i asked, hoping that it wouldn't be me.

"you." he stated. f.uck.

i stood up in anger and went out of the room. i left with a slam on the door and ran out to the halls. i sat down and just sulked. this can't be happening. i can't face her after what i just did to her. no one really knew what happened except for the boys and the blondie whose name i forgot. the fans just thought that we broke it off because we couldn't work the long distance. i just can't face her. i felt so ashamed of myself when i did that. i have no valid reason to what i did but i didn't even realize i loved her until she left. you only know you love her when you let her go.

i heard foot steps coming to the halls and i looked up to see a still wet calum holding a water bottle. i gave him a weak smile and he gave me sad eyes filled with worry. he sat down beside me and just patted my back.

"i'm sorry for spitting water on you. i was just very shocked." i said.

"it's okay, mate. i understand how you feel." he said.

"i'm just not ready to face her, ya know?" i sighed.

"it's okay. she may still be mad but you can work this through. just six months and you're done." he reassured.

"from all people, why does it have to be her?" i asked, curiously.

"apparently the fans wanted you guys back together."

"i just don't think i can handle seeing her again. i haven't spoke to her for a year and it has been hell for me." i sobbed.

"you still love her, do you?" i nodded.

"i know she hates me and i don't think i can face her." i said.

"you can do it, lucas. i believe in you." he smiled.

"thanks, man."

he drank his water bottle and spat it at my face. i gave him a shocked and annoyed look. he was laughing his ass of.

"now we're even." he laughed.

i just hope i won't f.uck up again.
