Chapter 8

"Bryce, wake up we're almost at our stop" I heard Cal whisper but I kept my eyes shut.

"Iderwerntter" I mumbled and nuzzled my head on his shoulder

"C'mon baby, it's time to wake up" I kept my eyes shut ignoring Calum's wakeup call, seconds later I felt his soft lips kissed my nose quickly, which made me open my eyes as wide as I can

"Calum!" I looked at him with wide eyes.

"You wouldn't wake up" he pouted damn you for being adorable.
I sighed and got my bag and penguin ready for the stop.

"Anyone stopping here?" The conductor asked

Calum and I stood up and got out.
It was freaking cold, I wore my flannel that was wrapped around my waist.

"Always ready for anything huh?" Calum said I saw his teeth slightly chatter while hugging the large penguin, I giggled

"Cold aren't we?" I said and he nodded
I got my hoodie out again and wrapped it around his shoulders and rubbed his arms
"There you go bud."
"That was supposed to be my move" he pouted again. And I just smiled

"Calum?" I heard a familiar voice call, we both turned around and saw Luke and Alexa with the boys.

"Hey guys" Calum smiled widely
"Are you guys um, on a date?" Michael asked.
"No, he just took me out for this new amusement park" I said

"It was so much fun! And I won Bryce a cute Penguin, we must go there before we leave!" Calum excitedly said

"I could see that." Luke said looking at the large penguin, why was the atmosphere so awkward? I mean I'm appropriately more dressed now but why is it awkward and Mike, Ash are there too?

"So um?" Alexa started

"You guys heading back?" Calum said

"Yeah." Ashton said really lifeless

"Then let's all walk together!" Cal happily said

I walked by Calum, he hold my hand with his free one
"You're freezing!" He said

"Like you're not?"

"But I'm still pretty" Cal said

I heard foot steps running, Michael and Ash walked by our sides

"Hey Bryce" Michael said

"Hello Michael" I smiled

"Do you like Calum better than me?" Michael put his arm around me, I think I'm going to faint, I could smell his scent which is nice I like it.

"Of course she does!" Calum jokingly said.

"Baby is that true?!"
"Pretty sure it's not Michael cuz she likes me better than you two" Ashton interrupted.

"Dream on Ashton" Calum's jaw tightened.

"What? I'm just saying the truth" Ashton giggled but a hint of being serious

"The truth is that she likes me than you two!" Michael said a bit louder, he took his hand off my arm.

I'm so glad that we are almost at the apartment, I glanced at Luke and Alexa they were having a conversation but no smiles or giggles like it was very distant Luke was emotionless, Alexa was just looking at everything that pass her by.

Ashton grabbed my hand "Bryce tell them that you like me better."

"Ashton." I gave him a warning tone, and to be honest them fighting about this is pathetic and it's pissing me off but let's see how long my patience is.
