Everything Has Changed

Chapter 2

Yesterday has been the best day of my life! I got noticed by my heroes not just on twitter, even in person! I got up earlier than I should be it was around quarter to 5? I probably can't stop thinking about what happened, A huge big grin spread across my face, I can't sleep, I thought maybe playing the Piano could help, the owner said I'm free to play the Piano whenever I want right? And besides everyones in their room no ones on the ground floor anyway.

I got out of bed, grabbed my phone, didn't mind changing or putting on a jacket or robe, and head out of my apartment. I started walking it was kinda dim and have to say quite scary too but it's fine, I pressed the down button and waited for the elevator.

I heard a swoosh sound from behind me which made me a lot scared, good thing the elevator was on time, I quickly went inside and pressed the Ground Floor button.

The dim natural light was streaming through the windows, it made me feel a lot at ease I wonder where's the night shift guard, actually where are all the night shift employees?

I placed my phone on top of the Piano and sat on the stool, excited on touching the beautiful keys again and just really feel the music coming from the piano and best of all it was really just me and the Piano this time.

I started playing Ordinary People by John Legend, this time I sang while playing the Piano since no one was in the lobby and they can't hear me.

I closed my eyes and started feeling the music taking over my hands, I singed softly.

"At times we get sick of love

It seems like we argue everyday"

That voice sound familiar... I haven't snapback to reality yet but I feel like someone is singing with me a soft, sweet voice.

I kept on singing, not minding the other voice because I'm pretty sure it's just in my head and besides our voice blend well together.

"We're just ordinary people

We don't know which way to go

Cuz we're ordinary people

Maybe we should take it slow, Take it slow oh oh ohh"

I stopped there, still closed eyes and remembered the voice sounded like Ashton Irwin, GOD you had gone cuckoo about 5SOS literally.

"Don't stop, that was beautiful" someone said I opened my eyes and heard a guy behind me before the elevator.

"I-i, I was just--" I stuttered

"Hey it's cool I like that song and you sing beautifully" He tried to calm me down and I realized he has an Aussie accent

"U-um thanks, were you? I mean-"

"Singing with you? yeah"

I froze and decided to turn around and look into his eyes, he walked towards me.

OH CRAP.

IT'S ASHTON IRWIN. i think I'm going to faint

"Oh my god" I covered my mouth preventing myself from screaming

"Hehe, could you play the Piano again one more time? Please?" He asked

I just nodded and was about to press a key

"Wait" He sat beside me, I looked at his eyes, they were Hazel this time.

"Could you also sing?"

I nervously nodded again, I've never sang in front of anyone before, but Ashton Irwin is asking me to sing how can you not say no?

I pressed one key first.

"C'mon don't leave me hangin" he playfully said

I smiled and started to play The Only Exception by Paramore, got into the music again but had a hint of reality pulling me back because Ashton was so close to me

"When I was younger I saw my Daddy cry and cursed at the wind"

I could feel Ashton looking at me then my hands playing, then back at me again.

"And that was the day that I promised I'd never sing of love if it does not exist" Ashton sang.

We had a duet and it was fun, when I finished the song, I looked at Ashton, Ashton looked deeply into my eyes, I blushed then looked away.

"Um this was fun Ashton" I smiled looking at the Piano keys trying to hide my red face

"Yeah, I wish I could sing with you while playing the Piano all day" he replied, the Sunrise finally came and shined on Ashton's angel face his eyes turned into a beautiful green color

I just smiled and looked at the big clock on top of the entrance door, almost time for my "Morning Routine"

"Oh, I have to get ready for school" I stood up quickly

"And I have to wake up the Lads" he remembered and stood up as well.

When we've reached 7th floor we both got out and walked to our doors

"I hope I could sing with you again" he smiled looking at me, both our hands grasping the door knobs waiting for each other's reply before we could enter

"Maybe I could play drums with you sometime" he laughed still not opening the door, and I still didn't opened the door

I giggled "Maybe, Ashton. See you" I said he looked at me and nodded and opened his door and walked in.

I froze for a minute and think if this was a dream.

Ashton's door opened and quickly checked if I was still in my position

"Sorry I didn't get your name" he scratched the back of his neck

"Bryce." I said

"Thanks Bryce." He smiled again and went back inside...Okay maybe this isn't a dream...I opened my door and start to do the Usual routine I do...

It's a little bit short and well what d'you think XD Ashton got this chapter all to himself haha but just because he got this all to himself doesn't mean he's going to be with Bryce 😏
