Blue and Purple || Sora and Jaxx || Original Writing

Written by: emmict

Note: This is some of the most stereotypical, cliche crap you'll ever see. About two gay idiots named Sora and Jaxx. Highschool enemies to lovers AU. Enjoy.

Trigger Warnings: uhhh nothing really. Gay is just gay, so if ur uncomfy screw off.

Extra: I wrote this in 30 minutes - 1 1/2 hours for a contest :D

Sora had pretty blue hair. He was tall. He had those stereotypical nerdy round glasses that fit him well.

He had about half the school's population swooning after him. He played the guitar and wrote music.

Jaxx was your typical highschool football guy. Slightly dumb, well built and muscly. He had hair that was a dark purple verging on black.

He had the other half of the school's population under his thumb.

Which naturally made them compition. But it was a bit more... extreme than that.

It started in third grade when they were put against each other in the finals of the spelling bee. Sora won, of course. He'd given the loud boy a triumphant, slightly flirty smile that had definitely tweaked some pride and nudged feelings.

So Jaxx got him back, easily beating him in P.E. when their teams were tied for the final shot in a scrimmage of basketball.

And it went from there. By the time highschool came around, they had the biggest, most ridiculous rivalry the school had probably ever seen. The two would get into consistent fights, though Sora did well at keeping from detention and suspension.

It kinda split the school in half too. Whose side were you one? Sora or Jaxx's?

Oh you like Sora? Nerdy your type? He's cute though. He's so sweet! If you have the guts, ask him for a song or autograph. He might say yes.

You like Jaxx? He's hot, yeah? Wonder which lucky guy he'll pick up next. His next football game is this weekend, and I've got tickets. Wanna come?

That sums it up pretty well.

Freshmen year:

"You know that it's stupid that you're not signing up for the Newspaper team because Jaxx is on it," his sister said, rolling her eyes.

The car rumbled along, and Sora looked at her from where he'd been staring out the window and out at the grey sky. With summer ending, and fall soon to be approaching, the hot weather often abated to cool, windy days.

He glared at her before straightening his navy jacket. "Shut up, you wouldn't get it."

"Yeah, right."

"You wouldn't. If I join that team, it will be a never ending fight between the two of us."

"It's already a never ending fight between the two of you guys!" she exclaimed.

He rolled his eyes, not retorting because he knew she was right. He wasn't about to inflame her ego though.

It's not like he wanted to fight with Jaxx constantly, but he wasn't going to let the stupid jock walk all over him.

"Boys are so stupid," she muttered. He gave a scoff and punched her shoulder.

"Alright you two, enough," his mother said as they pulled up into the highschool parking lot. There were a lot of cars, and he watched students stream into the building. "You sure you don't want me going in with you Sora?"
