SKAFLKSAFAJS I’m back, at last! After almost a month and a half of not opening my account… *cries tears of joy* I never thought my course would be this hard. I’m dying. No jk.

Anyway, first and foremost let me take this time to apologize for my, Ame_rissa’s, tardiness. I got drunk in reading fanfiction these past few months rendering me unable to find time to update, especially with school becoming the bitch it already is. (/•ิ_•ิ)/ (Okay, sorry.) Also, my friend and I are doing a collab together. (((o(*≧▽≦)o))) He’ll be illustrating the story that I wrote. Too bad it isn’t yaoi though.

Well, again, thank you for always bearing with me. I really love you guys! To infinity and beyond! ((\(。’▽’。)♡ Enjoy this chapter~

The ticking the hands of the wall clock are making on a fine weekend sounded like the ticking of a bomb getting ready to detonate any second now. Once again, we are seated on the living room’s couch. The atmosphere circling us speaks of nothing but awkwardness.

The three of us— Hikage-nii, Kagami-nii, and I are sitting on the three-seater khaki sofa. Father was leaning on the sofa’s arm rest just beside Hikage-nii. And well, Aunt Ryouko is sitting in front of us, on the matching single-seater khaki couch, with all of her luggage just beside her. She’s still sniffling, though, now, more composed.

Finally deciding to break the growing silence, father spoke. “Ryouko, what on earth are you doing here?” He asked, completely vexed about the current situation.

“B-Because… Usui… Usui… He doesn’t love me anymore! Waaaaahh!!” Aunt Ryouko began her crying fit again.

We all, immediately, covered our ears before my brothers and I gave our father a condemning look. You… made her cry again. The three of us must have thought at the same time.

A few moments have passed before Aunt Ryouko calmed down again.

“Ryouko, why— Umph!” Just when dad began saying something again, Hikage-nii immediately covered his mouth to not further aggravate the current situation. Hikage-nii was forcefully smiling. The way he did that with his eyes closed made Kagami-nii’s and my eye twitch in fear. It’s the demon Hikage-nii! We, both, must be thinking.

“Aunt Ryouko, may I ask what happened to your and Uncle Usui’s honeymoon?” Hikage-nii straightforwardly asked.

That’s way too direct to the point, Hikage-nii! I was rendered speechless by how my eldest brother just effortlessly asked that. Not only me. When I looked sideways, I saw my father and Kagami-nii stare at Hikage-nii, their eyes like saucers.

“…” Aunt Ryouko weakly bored her eyes on the floor, tears continuously pouring down her rosy cheeks.

Gah! Hikage-nii look at what you’ve done! I was inwardly panicking when Aunt Ryouko began to talk.

“Usui… Usui doesn’t love me anymore…” she said, controlling her sniffling.

“And why do you think Uncle Usui doesn’t love you anymore?” Hikage-nii asked, still on his demon mode.

“B-Because…” Aunt Ryouko picked up one of the three bags she was carrying earlier and hurriedly searched for something. Immediately, after finding what she was looking for, she placed it atop the coffee table, making a slight clanging sound on the glass.

The four of us studied the small thing she just put on the table.

“A ring…?” We all wondered in sync.
