The girl opens the windows. The air rushes in. It cools her skin that is being burned by the blazing sunrays. She grabs clean clothes and goes to the bathroom. As she takes a dip in the shower, she starts to think of what to do. Traveling unknown waters, there is much to discover. Places are vast, she could get lost. Unknown people she will meet; different species, different personalities. Some might be driven by greed, unpredictable fish in the sea. She can't just trust anybody. Anyone may be a friend or an enemy.
Despite this danger, it is inevitable. She knows. The risks will only grow as she swims farther and deeper. She has heard of these stories before. Countless encounters of people with sea monsters, it shakes her core. At the back of her mind, she hopes it wouldn't be her. She's terrified, but there's a glint in her eyes, a spark that glows from her determination to not be held back by her fears. She refuses to step back. She has already gone this far. Why back down? Swim, swim, swim, that's all she needs to do. Swim until her limbs feel tired or until she runs out of air. Swim she will continue.
The girl turns off the tap. The sprinkling water stops and she dries herself up. Water has never been this refreshing, she should bathe more often. Previously, she would, actually every day. But it has never been this good. She thought it was a pain. Once she got stuck in the whirlpool of laziness, all her strength became nothingness. Her actions are delayed; she had no energy to even start the day. She's glad she got out of the swirling waters that had also caused her to drown where there she was trapped for a very long time.
She grabs a book. The scent of ink invades hernose. It has been too long to even remember when she has last held a piece oftreasure. She would often read more than a thousand words. She didn't care howlong or how short, just as long as the stories were told. She looks out at sea. What about her? What is her story?
