panic-stricken actions / chapter seven
tw: panic attack
HELLO UPPER EAST SIDERS, GOSSIP GIRL HERE. One of my many sources just sent me an alluring image of what seems to be two of the most admired ladies of the Upper East Side — S and B. These two looked rather cozy hanging out despite their last brawl at the mixer, but only this time one of our girls is missing from this little reunion. Guess little M wasn't invited — again?
Marley was sick and tired of seeing Gossip Girl's petty blog posts all morning about the two girls. She would be lying if she'd say it didn't hurt seeing them hanging out without her, or at least try to fix things together, but they didn't. From her point of view, it was more than obvious that they wanted to make up and she wasn't a part of the deal.
Then again, she was never really a part of their group. Serena would always invite her over despite Blair telling her not to over and over again. Her guess was that Blair gave her an ultimatum and Serena finally took it.
Unlike the two girls, Marley had no plans whatsoever. Her day off consisted of a pint of ice cream and binge watching season one of Grey's Anatomy. It was going extremely well until she got a call from the person she loathed the most.
Chuck Bass.
Out of all the people in the world, he had to be the one calling her. If her day wasn't already awful enough, seeing his name on her phone was basically a sign telling her that it would only get worse.
But of course she ignored his call — the first time, the second time, and the third until he wouldn't stop calling. She should've known he wasn't going to give up that easily, after all Chuck's slogan was 'i never take no for an answer'.
"What the hell do you want Chuck?" Marley snapped, holding the spoonful of ice cream in her free hand.
"Good to hear your voice too, Marley." Chuck chuckled lightly. "I'm going to assume you saw Gossip Girl's photos. Sucks to be left out, doesn't it?"
"I'm hanging up Chuck."
"Wait." He insisted. "I have important information that you might find... rather interesting."
"I don't think so."
"Oh, but I think you will Marley."
"Okay, then what is it?" She asked, clearly not believing a word coming out of his mouth.
"Meet me at the palace. My suite. 12 o'clock."
