Celebration

Third Person POV

"Hey baby" Megan grinned as soon as Y/N answered the face time call

"Hey babygirl. I see you getting your hair done" Y/N smiled

It was 1 in the afternoon. Megan was seated in Kellon's chair at his new hair salon as he finished up the new front Megan bought for later

The 21 year old was getting ready for her graduation ceremony later in the evening

On the other hand, Y/N was busy at her office closing some deals and sign in contracts. She is always at work and so was Megan but they never let their jobs get in between their relationship

"Yeah I am..." Megan trailed off

"I'm finally graduating" she added, a bug smile on her face which also caused Y/N to smile

"Finally. Now you can finally stop waking me up at night with your nails clicking clacking on the keyboard of your laptop" Y/N joked although she was being serious

Megan playfully rolled her eyes which made Y/N stop smiling and give her girlfriend a stern stare off

Not hearing a reply from the 24 year old, Megan looked down at her phone to catch Y/N's stare

"I thought you hung up on me. Was just about to cuss yo ass out" Megan said and Y/N sat back in her chair

"Did you just roll your eyes at me?" Y/N asked ignoring Megan's statement

"Oop" Kellon said under his breath before unplugging his flat iron

"I was just playing bae" Megan responded

"I have a meeting at 4:30-"

"But thats 30 minutes before my graduation" Megan said intrrupting Y/N's announcement

"I know that. I'll be there to see you walk on that stage, I promise" Y/N reassured

"You better or no W.A.P for you"

"Strike two" Y/N whispered into the phone

"I love you" Megan grinned

"I love you too. Laters baby" Y/N said before ending the call

"Come on Meg, time for makeup" the assistant said as she burst through the door

Megan stood in line waiting for her name to be called whilst searching the crowd for her girlfriend

"Megan Pete graduating with Honours, Bachelor of Science in Business and Management" the principal spoke into the microphone which made Megan force a smile as she went to collect her certificate

She faked her smiles for her classmates and fans in the crowd  who cheered for her. Buy the time she made it out her seat Y/N was walking into the auditorium

"Damn it" she mumbled still holding on the the bouquet of flowers

Once the ceremony was over, Y/N found Megan asthma the front of the school talking to her former classmates and some friends

Wanting to get her attention, Y/N tapped her shoulder which made Megan's smile fall slightly  when she saw it was her girlfriend

"I'll catch up with you guys later" Megan said to which her friends nodded and walked away leaving the couple to themselves

"I know I was late and I missed you by a flash but I'm here, I know that's not enough but I had a good reason for my tardiness" Y/N said

When she didn't get a response she continued her speech

"I was in the office making arrangements. I knew you wanted your family here but because of certain circumstances they were arrange blew to make it. The truth is I told them to lie to you because I wanted it to be a surprise. They were in the audience, they got to see you walk on the stage but to add to that-"

"Y/N-"

"Just hear me out. I know you've been working hard and all with your music and school, I remember you saying you wanted to collaborate with a certain someone and that is the main reason I was late, that's the only time I was could get a meeting with them-"

"Just spit it out damn" Megan said interupting Y/N

"I got Beyoncè to collaborate with you and not only that Jay wants to sign you to his record label" Y/N finished and looked at Megan for a response

It took her a while but soon Megan started fangirling and squealing before she jumped into Y/N's arms

"I'm still mad at you for missing my graduation though"

"I'm know and I plan to make it up to you. First we have a flight to catch to Bora Bora and then we have a week to just ourselves to relax and unwind... have all the sex you want" Y/N husked ant the end into Megan's ear which caused Megan to grin

"And what else?"

"You'll just have to wait and see"

"Take me home big daddy" Megan said getting a hold of Y/N's tie and started leading them to Y/N's car
