Cyrus' Point Of View
She slept most of the night. I stayed up, mostly watching her sleep. I've never seen her as scared as she was last night and all I wanted to do was hurt them and protect her. That's all I want. She's the only person that matters to me. She's my only true friend.. friend...
I love her..
She is laying on my chest in the same position as last night when she went to sleep. It's currently almost 8. I heard footsteps walking up the stairs and my door opened gently.
"I let myself in, I hope you and your parents don't mind." He said.
"It's okay, my parents aren't here." I told him.
"You look like crap kid." He said.
"I didn't sleep." I said, pushing the covers off of us and sliding from under her. She woke up a little. I quickly threw a shirt on and picked her up bridal style. "I'll go with you guys." I told him walking past him and down the stairs.
"I've got her." He said and I kept walking.
"I'm okay." I told him, motioning for him to open the door, I grabbed my cover from the couch and put it over her as we walked out. He opened the door to his sweet car and I sat her in the front seat and then instantly hopped in the back so he didn't leave me.
"Listen, kid, it'd be good for you if you get some rest, I'll take it from here." Dean said and I shook my head, looking at her and grabbing her hand. He sighed and started to car. The drive to her house was silent. She woke up from her half asleep state and she smiled at me.
"I'm scared." She said. "Mom's gonna kill me."
"You'll be okay. I've got your back." Dean said. "She can't get mad at you in this situation."
When we got there her step dad was sitting outside with her little brother. I got out and tried to help her. "I can walk, I didn't have both of my legs broken." She snapped. I smile, throwing my hands up playfully and walking behind her. She walked inside with her father and I walking behind her.
"Kadence, why didn't you come home last night!" Her mom said when she saw her.
"Please, Cassie. Leave her alone. Something happened last night." Dean said, giving Kadence a side hug. "Do you want to tell her or do you want me to?" He asked in a soft whisper as he kissed her forehead.
"Mom.. last night.. dad dropped me off here and I decided I wanted to go see Cyrus. A car with three guys from my school were in it and they harassed me. They started telling me to show them something.. they stopped the car, they got out and they pushed me down... they tore my clothes and I tried to get away and when I did I ran to Cyrus and he called Dad." She explained. Her mom looked at Kadence for a second and then pulled her into a hug, not letting go as tears formed in her eyes.
"I'm sorry honey." She cried. "We are going to go to the police station and we'll get these boys." Her mom said.
"Dean, could I talk to you outside?" Her mom asked. They both walked out, Kadence's brother came in a minute later and sat on the floor.
"Hey are you okay?" I asked her.
"I'm okay. You've seen me. I bounce back like a bouncy ball. I'm good, I was just a little scared last night. Teenagers are stupid. I'll be fine."
The rest of the day was giving information to her mom and looking at the posts of people calling her a whore to gather information. They made me go home and my parents told me I had to go to school tomorrow because if I miss anymore days then I'm screwed.
After a while I had to go home, she has her parents so she is fine.
All I could think about is Kadence, if she is okay. How I want to hurt the people that hurt her.
At school the next day right before lunch. (Bad language)⚠️
I've heard comments about Kadence almost the whole day, stupid rumors, and people calling her a whore and etc. I've wanted to punch every single one of them in the teeth but I couldn't.
I heard pinging all in the cafeteria as I walked in, someone sent something to everyone. I open my phone when I hear it on my phone and I see a picture of Kadence, her shirt torn, her bra showing, and someone wrote in big letters "slut." It's from that night.
This is it. The last straw.
I hopped on one of the tables and yelled. "Listen here you useless fucks!" The cafeteria went silent as everyone turned to face me. Even the teachers as they walked closer to me. "If anyone has anything to fucking say about Kadence, tell me and stop posting it on the fucking internet! Any asshole with a problem can talk to me! She isn't a fucking whore! She isn't a fucking slut! She's a good person that has people with stupid insecurities coming after her because she's better then them! Fuck all of you that think any different!" I saw people with their phones out recording me.
"She's a fucking slut. You're just a stupid bitch." I heard a familiar voice say from behind me. Jason. "She's probably got you in between her legs too."
I jumped down from the table and punched him right in the nose. "Yep it's empty. Nothing in there but a pea. I kneed him in the nuts. "Mhm.. it's a tiny shrimp." He was crying on the floor.
I felt someone grab me. Football players, Jason's friend. They pushed me to the ground and kicked me I heard teachers and campus officers trying to get all of them off of me. When they did I noticed I'm the only one being put in cuffs.
"Fuck all of you!" I yelled, spitting the blood from my lip on the ground.
They took me to the principal's office and made me sit in a chair in front of him. "Cyrus. I've been told about this situation by the police. I'm very sorry but this outburst, the profanity used, the fight, and the disturbance. I can't let this go. I know you've had a rough few days, but do you know what the consequences are for this? Fights land you a night in jail, a fine of 500$, a few days out of school and a week of in school suspension, or you can have a night in jail and expulsion. We don't play about these things."
"Okay, expel me." I shrugged, he nodded to the officer behind me. They grab my arms which are already cuffed and they walk me out of the school and I'm put into a car.
