𝒀𝑶𝑼 and Carol have been best friends for a long time, always sticking close together. Hanging out together, going on "friend dates".
Even after the plane crash, that somehow gave her powers. You still stuck with her, you both had a motive that you had with each other. "Even when we're apart, we'll always be together by heart".

You had just came back from a mission invalving HYDRA again. They were one of your biggest enemies, also to mention that you and Carol worked under S.H.E.I.L.D. You both went on missions together sometimes, you mostly went separate or with other Agents or Avengers.
You didn't have any severe injuries only some small cuts and bruises, well you did get stabbed in the arm but the damage wasn't that bad. You walked through the hallway, you didn't want to alert Carol about your injuries since she was the only one here.
"Welcome back Mrs. Y/L/N" Jarvis said, it's voice ran through the silent building. Next thing you knew Carol came from the Living room and pulled you into a tight hug. You winced slightly as she had touched your wound, it wasn't major but it still hurt.
She instantly pulled away, "Are you okay, did I hurt you?" she asked with a worried expression on her face. You shook your head, "No, No it's okay I'm okay" you reassured her quickly. But Her worry didn't go away, "Are you sure?" she said as she put some pressure on the wound on your arm. You hissed when she did that, she looked at you with a stern look.
"Fine, I kinda got stabbed in the arm during the mission" you muttered while lookibg down at the floor. You heard her leave the room, then come back about 2 minutes later with an aid kit.
"Come sit down" she said as she lead you over to the couch, you went over and sat down. The silence was tense and you didn't like it, "I'm sorry" you said barely audible. Carol sighed as she finished bandaging your arm, "It's okay Y/n/n, just be careful next time".
She got up and was about to leave, "Wait!" you said a little too loudly. She stopped and turned around to face you, raising her eyebrow. "I have something to tell you" you said as you looked into her beautiful brown eyes.
She sat next to you on the couch, "What is it?" she asked as she put her hand on your thigh, you felt butterflys inside your stomach. You loved her more than the entire universe, and it was finally your time to confess to her.
"𝑰...𝑰-𝑰 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖" you said to her as you looked straight (𝑮𝒂𝒚) into her eyes. She just stared at you and smiled, she slowly started to lean in and you did the same.
