HEROES FROM ANOTHER DIMENSION

CHAPTER 1

Three months later...

Jon found himself in an empty dark void. Soon he heard something, it almost sounded like someone was talking. "Who's there" he called out, but there was no response.

Soon, Jon heard a voice coming from behind him, when he turned around to see who it was, he saw Damian in his Robin uniform. "Damian?" he called out and he tried to reach out to Damian, but it seemed like Damian was getting farther away from his grasp.

Soon Damian vanished, Jon began to look for him and then he saw Damian and Slade fighting, he found himself unable to move when he tried to. He saw Damian losing the battle and Slade stabbing him in the chest.

"NOOO!" he screamed and tears began to flow from his eyes' Slade began to walk towards him and he tried to move, but he was still unable to move.

Slade then pointed his gun at Jon's head, "Your friend's already dead, and it was all your fault. It was nice meeting you, now it's time for you to say goodbye" Slade said then he pulled the trigger.

Jon woke up, panting and sweating, he sighed. "Another nightmare," he said as he got out of bed, the sun had already set, he just decided to take a nap and he had a nightmare, when he woke up, he checked the time on his phone and saw that the time was 6:15 pm. It would soon be time for dinner.

At 6:30 his mom called him out for dinner. When he got down he saw his mum had already put dinner on the table and his dad was already there.

When his mum looked at him and saw his appearance, she asked "Did you have another nightmare?"

He hesitated a bit and replied, "No." Yes he lied to his mum, he feels bad about lying but he didn't want his mum to worry too much about him. He looked at his dad and saw him raising an eyebrow, he already knew Jon was lying but didn't say anything about it.

As he sat down, when his mum turned around, his dad whispered, "We will talk later." His mum then turned around, put a jug of iced tea on the table, sat down then began to have dinner.

Jon barely had any appetite, to begin with, and this didn't go unnoticed by his mum.

"Is the food not to your taste?" She asked.

"No, I didn't have an appetite to begin with" he replied

Lois sighed, "Jon, I know you still aren't what happened, but you should know there are still people who care about you, and if you need someone to talk to, your dad and I are right here, just in case"

"I know mum... thanks" he said and he stood up to leave the dining table.

"Jon," his dad called "I almost forgot to tell you Batman asked me to bring you along with me to the Bat-cave for a meeting, he said you might want to be present, we'll be leaving in an hour" Jon nodded and he went to his room.

When Jon got to his room, he laid down on his bed and thought of the reason Batman would ask him to come to the Bat-cave. He waited patiently for an hour to pass.

Soon an hour passed and Jon and his dad got ready to go to the Bat-cave.

While they were flying there Superman, Jon's dad, flew closer to Jon's side. "So Jon, why did you lie to your mum?"

"I didn't want to make her worry" Jon replied.

"I understand that you don't want to make us worry but should not always keep your emotions to yourself your mother and I are always there and you shouldn't be too afraid to tell us how you feel," Superman said. "And besides how would you think he would feel if saw like this"
