HEROES FROM ANOTHER DIMENSION

CHAPTER 6

Three hours later.

 Both Dick and Tim had already woken up by this time, although Tim woke up nine minutes earlier than Dick. Izuku had to run some errands for his mom, Jason and Tim both volunteered to go with him. Before they left Dick begged them to buy some ice cream and some cereal. Tim also needs to buy some coffee for himself.

While they were gone, Jon was telling Dick about his entrance exams and even showed Dick his results.

"Wow, congratulations on getting to U.A Jon." Dick said with a big smile.

"Thanks" Jon replied. 

"How long have you and Izuku been friends?" Dick asked all of a sudden.

"Huh?" Jon was confused at the sudden question. "The day I arrived, I guess? Why do you ask?" 

"Well, Batman suspects that the League of Assassins might want to use someone you care about to try to get to you. Well, technically, it's either they try to use Izuku or his mom as bait to get to you" Dick replied to Jon's question.

"Wait so you mean that Izuku and his mum are going to be in danger because of their friendship with me?!" Jon asked. 

Dick nodded "Although we are not sure if they would want to use them as bait, we can't take any chances. The League of Assassins are extremely cunning, it is quite difficult to know what is going with them, so right now all we have to do is to be on guard. Our problem is that we can't always protect all of you, Inko has to go to work and you and Izuku have to go to school. I mean if either of us could work at U.A. it would be a whole lot easier. But unfortunately, that is impossible because they only hire pro-heroes. So this problem has forced us to conclude. Either you forcibly abort the mission and we take up the mission for you or we tell Izuku what is going on..." Dick said. Jon knew that he would most definitely not choose the first choice, so he would have to go for the second choice. 

"I know you well, there is no way you would go for the first option, you'd rather go for the second option and now the only problem is how we are going to tell Izuku"

"Yes, that's indeed a problem... But I'm not backing down from this mission." Jon said and Dick smiled at him. "So when are we going to tell Izuku about the mission?" he asked.

"Right now, I put a tracker on Izuku, and I just checked, they in Izuku's apartment. They should be back here any moment soon" Dick said. "Let me just call Jason to tell him to bring Izuku over"

"Izuku, I know that you are wondering why I called you over" Dick said. "Well, we have an important secret to tell you. Normally we wouldn't tell you what we're about to tell you, but we have no choice. So before we begin... Do want any refreshments. Jason bring the kid some tea."

"No, there is no need, I'm fine. So... what important secret do you want to tell me?" Izuku said. "I mean it's not like someone's life is in danger" he joked and he laughed a bit. It got a little awkward when he saw that nobody was laughing with him, they all looked serious, including Jon.

"Well, now you know that someone's life is in danger. What you don't know is that it isn't just one person's life, quite a lot of people's lives are in danger, including yours and your mother's" Dick said with a serious voice.

Izuku's eyes widened, he was frightened by this discovery 'My mum's life is in danger? Why?' he thought.

"I'm sure you have a lot of questions to ask, and even though we have time to explain everything, me explaining it would mean that I have to explain our entire lives and that is way too complicated for your tiny brain."

'Way too complicated for my tiny brain? My brain isn't tiny' Izuku thought. 'It can't be that be that complicated'

"Anyway, the thing is... We aren't from this Earth. You see there is something called the multiverse and your universe was just recently discovered. And you see our universe isn't like ours at all. I don't want to explain everything right now, maybe another. Let me just get to the main point. You see, in our universe, everyone you see in this room is a hero. Unlike your universe there are is no such thing as quirks. But that doesn't mean that some people don't have any powers. 

"You see here eighty percent of the Earth's population have quirks. But in our world, your world's normal is our world's abnormal. Remember when I said there are some people with powers... Well, in our universe the people who have power either get it by fatal accident or they have magic or they the supernatural or they aliens or have alien bloodline or have an alien technology. 

"For example, Jon over here is an alien"

Izuku was shocked by all this information, Jon is a hero from another dimension, and he is an alien. "Jon is an alien?" Izuku asked. Right now he wishes he brought his notebook, he would have written down all this valuable information.

"Technically he is half, his mum's human, his dad, however, he is a full-blooded alien, and he looks human. Their race  gets their power from the Earth's sunlight, meaning they are living solar panels." Dick said.

Izuku looked at Jon in amazement "Wow, that's so amazing, so what about you guys. You said you are heroes, what are your powers?" Izuku asked. After asking that question, Izuku suddenly felt awkward. 

"Hey, just because we're heroes doesn't mean that we have to have powers. We don't have powers but we are respected in the hero community. In our world, a lot of heroes don't have powers and they are highly respected in our world..." Jason said. 

So in their universe people could become heroes even without powers. How amazing would it be if he was born there, born without any powers but can still become a hero? 

"Anyway, the reason why Jon came to this universe is that a group of villains teamed up with a group of villains from our universe, they are called the League of Assassins, they are a group of highly skilled fighters, and one thing that Jon doesn't know is that another group of villains joined this partnership... They are called the Legion of Doom, this group of villains consists of some of the most dangerous criminals Earth has to offer. Jon was meant to be alone on this mission because the villains of your Earth's target is U.A. and All Might. Normally Jon wouldn't be here but since their target is U.A., we need someone to stay there undercover, and U.A. isn't hiring anyone except pro-heroes, or else any one of us would have gone.

"Another reason why is because we suspect someone we know that is your age might try to go undercover to U.A. but that doesn't seem to be the case, he didn't go for the U.A. entrance exam, but he didn't show up, now that League of Assassins know that Jon is, we have to protect him from life-threatening situations, we also know that Jon is close to you so we also need to protect you from any life-threatening situations. But we can't always be beside you both every time so we decided to tell you just in case you get kidnapped." Dick explained to him

All this news just kept running through Izuku's head. Then he quickly remembered something Dick had said. "You said that there is someone our age that might try to enter U.A. in disguise do you know who that person is?" Izuku asked.

"Unfortunately yes, that person is our little brother and Jon's best friend, Damian, field name Robin. Technically he is a hero. But three months before Jon came here, he was presumed to be dead. But we later found out he was alive only to be brainwashed by the League of Assassins. Another reason why Jon is here is because is the only person outside of our family that knows Damian well." Dick replied to Izuku's question.

"You sound a bit worried about what might happen. Is Damian that dangerous?" Izuku said.

"Oh Damian's dangerous alright" Tim spoke for the first time and Izuku turned his attention to him. "Damian's the heir to the League of Assassins, his grandfather was the leader of the League of Assassin before he died. After he died, Damian came to leave with his dad, our mentor. He is extremely skillful at what he does and that's what makes him dangerous." he said, then he mumbled, "I still have nightmares of the times he tried to kill me every day."

Izuku gulped 'What kind of situation have I gotten myself into' he thought as he watched as Dick smacked Tim for scaring even though his words are true. 

Izuku looked at Jon and just said "Welcome to the team"
