HEROES FROM ANOTHER DIMENSION

CHAPTER 2

A Week Later...
Musutafu, Japan
10:00 AM

Right now Jon is in Musutafu, Japan. He is currently standing in front of his new home. It is an apartment building apparently, Batman said this was the only available place, to be honest, it isn't even bad. 

Once he got into his apartment he saw it was well furnished. 'Wow, I wonder how much all these costs.'  he thought. He began to unpack his things, he didn't bring a lot of things except some clothes, his glasses, and some pictures of him along with his mum, dad, uncle, Conner, and aunt, Kara. He also has a picture of him with Damian. He put them in place and went to take a shower.

When he came out he put on a pair of joggers and a t-shirt and he put a towel around his neck. 'Batman said he got me a laptop, I wonder where it is?' he thought as he looked around to look for the laptop. When he found it he saw it was the latest one from Wayne Enterprises. "Wow, this one isn't even out yet! Thank you, Mr. Batman. Well, I  better start working." he said. 

He began to research the heroes of this world alongside the villains, turns out most of the information Batman told was right, but he doesn't see any information of any villain groups here. Maybe they are still and they haven't started their reign of terror yet. He also searched in news on U.A, he saw the news about the sports festival that happened last year, doesn't seem that interesting. Right now all he has to do is to watch and wait till the U.A entrance exams, which is in five months.

Soon after 45 minutes, Jon heard a doorbell. 'That must be some neighbors' he thought. Before he also went out he checked the time, it was around2:12pm. When he opened the door, he saw a green-haired woman standing in front of the door.

"Oh hi, you must be the new neighbor, my name is Inko Midoriya and I am your next-door neighbor. You must be?" she said in Japanese. It's a good thing Damian taught Jon the language something ago.

"My name is Jon Kent, nice to meet you Ms. Midoriya"  he replied in the language. Damian's lessons were not wasted

"Oh, please call me Inko, um I was wondering if you would like to join me for tea, you don't have to though" she said really fast, Jon smiled at this woman's actions.

"I don't mind joining you for tea, Inko" he said smiling.

"Ok then follow me." Together they walked down to Inko's apartment. She escorted him into the apartment and asked him to take a seat on the sofa while she go prepare some tea.

While waiting Jon saw a picture of Inko with a boy around his age he looks like her but with freckles. The boy might be her son. But he doesn't see father, maybe he's dead.

The boy seems like a cheerful person. Soon Inko came out of the kitchen with a tray carrying a teapot, two cups, and a plate of cookies. Jon stood up to help her carry the tray to the coffee table.

"So Jon, how old are you?" she asked.  Inko gave a sweat drop. 'That's a very awkward question to ask when trying to start a conversation" she thought. "You don't have t..."

"I'm fifteen years old" he replied interrupting her.

"Oh, that's the same age as Izuku..." she said, then she found out he probably didn't know who he was, "He is my son if you're wondering"

"Is he the one in the pictures?" he asked.

"Yes, he is the one"

"He seems nice" he told her.

"Yes, he is..... So Jon, if you don't mind me asking, but, why did you come here?" she asked. Jon figured he couldn't just say he is a Superhero who came from a different universe to look for his best friend. It would sound insane and he would probably end up in a mental asylum.
