Chapter 3

The next day, Earth reached the class a little earlier .
He saw mix and khaotung was already in the class, chatting and laughing on about something. Some other students were also with them. Because of this, the class was so noisy, but lively.

Earth was about to sit in his usual front seat, but later changed his mind and decided to sit in the last seat. He wanted to sit behind mix and his group, so that he could watch him without being obvious. The students near him noticed his change in place, but did not give much thought to it.

~At the same time~

Mix noticed a tall student who just passed by him. He was different from others.

He looked intimidating.

"Who is the one who just passed us? "
Mix nudged khaotung.

"Who- Oh, its Earth", Khaotung said, flipping a bottle. It landed successfully upright on the table followed by the cheering of the students around.

"Who?"

"Earth Pirapat, our class topper" ,Khaotung said louder,now warming up to get another successful flip.

Mix and khaotung have known each other since their childhood. Their parents were close friends and business partners.

Both their parents was always abroad for their business.

When khaotung was young, he always stayed with his grandmother when his parents were not around. After her death, he decided to stay alone. He was an independent kid and was mature for his age. So his parents was less concerned about him and left him to his decision.

On the other side, it is only recently mix came back from abroad. He always travelled with his parents, so he was never alone. So his decision to live alone was not first welcomed by his parents. But later, they agreed, when khaotung told them that he will also stay with mix and look out for him.

So now mix and khaotung are staying together in a condo near to their college and mix was admitted to same class as khaotung.

Mix did not ask anything further to not disturb khaotung, as he looked so dead serious about getting this next bottle flip perfectly.

But the flip failed, and the bottle fell on the ground. Mix chuckled, hearing the distressed grunt from khaotung.

The bottle fell to his side, so he leaned over to take it. As he was about to, something made him look behind.

Earth who was looking at mix the whole time, quickly averted his eyes and was now deliberately flipping the pages of the book in his hand.

"Was he looking at me?" Mix thought, passing the bottle back to khaotung.

Earth, at the same time, was panicking inside,

"Did he saw i was looking at him? "

Their thoughts came into a halt when teacher arrived and began the class.

After the class, mix went to the staffroom as teacher asked him to meet.

Khaotung waited outside the staffroom, as mix entered and greeted the teacher.

Teacher said,
"I called you to inform you that exam is near. So you need to catch up with the portions with others soon. Do you need help?"

Khaotung heard the converation and jumped in.

" I can help him "

Teacher looked at him judgingly.

" Well, Well, Your performance for the last exam was not satisfactory, Khaotung. You need some help first- "
