Sam and Colby One shots

For their another 25 by 25 challenge they picked drifting. Since Sam got into a car accident when he tried drifting the first time and with Colby in the passenger seat it was something to overcome for him. He was genuinely scared not only for himself but of course for Colby.

When they got their first lesson, Sam was actually pretty good at it and he got confident quickly. Colby on the other hand...well he killed the car about 20 times before he managed to do his first drift.

However he slowly got better at it and when it was their turn to do it by themselves, he was the first to do so and Sam sat on the passenger seat. They looked at each other, not saying anything for a bit. Then they nodded at each other.

Colby started the car and began driving progressively getting faster, he glanced at Sam as he was about to drift.

"Do you trust me?" He asked him.

"With my life."

As Sam said that Colby smiled and started drifting. It gave him confidence to do so when he knew Sam was trusting him completely. They had great fun with that and when they went back to the hotel and into the jacuzzi Colby couldn't stop thinking about what Sam said. He said it within seconds, without hesitation.

"Hey Sam, about earlier... thank you"

"For what?"

"For trusting me so much. Anything could have happened and you trusted me without question."

"Of course I do, I always have. When I'm with you I'm not afraid."

They gazed at each other. Their eyes never left each other and Colby couldn't hold back anymore and kissed him. Feeling butterflies when he felt Sam kissing back.

They pulled away from each other and grinned.

"I've been wanting to do that for a while."

"Me too"...
