It was late at night in L.A. you were singing in a retro bar, more like cabaret. It was your job and you loved it. You were living in L.A. for two years, you were originally from Kansas.

It was an ordinary night, until halfway through the song, you see two familiar faces walk in. That couldn't be, they weren't here, were they? It was none other than Sam and Colby, your childhood friends.

They sat down at one of the tables talking, until Sam looked up and right at you. His eyes wide and a smile slowly showing on his lips when he's sure it's really you.  You smile back, feeling your heart beat so fast that you're afraid it'll burst. For the longest time you had a crush on Sam, but you never got the courage to tell him. But maybe now was the right time, it might be your only chance.

Determined to let him know how you feel about him, you speak to the mic.

" Thank you so much. This last song is dedicated to my long time friend who's here tonight. I hope I'm not too late in confessing my feelings. This is for you Sam."

You feel tears in your eyes and see Sam having them too. You walked down the stage and walked to him.

"I love you Sam I've always loved you"

" I love you too"

He caressed your cheek and pulled you for a soft yet passionate kiss. You can hear people cheering around you, Colby being the loudest one. But at the moment, the only people that exist are you and Sam.
