When Xu Baoru and Shen Du got home, it was almost twelve o'clock.

Xu Baoru ordered a birthday cake in the morning. In the afternoon, she took advantage of Shen Du going out. She went to get it and put it in the refrigerator.

When Shen Du went to the bathroom to take a shower, she took out the birthday cake, opened it on the island in the kitchen, and then turned off the light in the living room.

The living room light is off, and the light is not on in the bedroom. The whole house is dark.

When Shen Du came out of the bathroom after taking a shower, he saw the light turned off in the living room, and the room was very dark.

He subconsciously wanted to turn on the bathroom light again, but before he could, Xu Baoru ran out from somewhere and blindfolded him from behind him.

Two small hands covered his eyes softly. Even if Shen Du couldn't see it, he still knew it was Xu Baoru when he smelled the fragrance.

He raised his hand and took Xu Baoru's hand and whispered, "What's the trouble?"

Xu Baoru smiled with a curved eyebrow. She blindfolded Shen Du and said, "Don't worry, just follow me."

Shen Du didn't know what Xu Baoru was going to do. He couldn't help laughing, simply put his hands in his pockets, let her blindfold him, and take him forward.

Xu Baoru took Shen Du to the sofa and sat down. He refused to let go of his eyes and said, "I didn't let you open your eyes. You are not allowed to open your eyes."

Shen Du smiled, "Um."

Xu Baoru was worried and tilted his head to make sure that Shen Du had not opened his eyes, so he slowly let go of his eyes.

She squatted on the sofa, touched a candle, looked up at Shen Du while looking for the lighter, reminding him, "Don't open your eyes."

Shen Du laughed, "Xu Baoru, what tricks are you doing?"

"You will know in a minute. Anyway, don't open your eyes." Xu Baoru got up and went to the kitchen as she spoke. She lit a candle in the kitchen and turned around and shouted, "Don't peek."

Shen Du smiled at the corners of his lips. He didn't peek, but probably guessed what Xu Baoru was going to do.

But he didn't look. He simply closed his eyes, leaned his back against the back of the sofa chair, put his right hand on the armrest of the sofa, and tapped the armrest of the sofa with his index and middle fingers one after another, waiting for Xu Baoru to do something.

In a short time, Xu Baoru lit the cake and came out of the kitchen with it.

She held the birthday cake with a candle in both hands, and the candlelight swayed on her cheeks, which made her particularly beautiful. Her eyes twinkled, beautiful and cute.

As she brought the cake, she observed Shen Du and asked, "You didn't peek, did you?"

Shen Du couldn't help laughing now.

He didn't peek, but even if he closed his eyes, he could feel the candlelight swaying.

However, he didn't tear down the little fool's stage. He suppressed his smile and said, "I didn't see it. What the hell are you doing?"

Xu Baoru smiled. She put the birthday cake on the coffee table in front of Shen Du, and then got up to see Shen Du. She bent down and stretched out her hand to shake in front of Shen Du. As a result, Shen Du grabbed her hand and directly pulled her into his arms. He put his arms around her waist and lowered his head and kissed her.
